14:12 The Murderous Intent skill causes a fear effect and drops an opponents abilities by 50%. He was overwhelmed and suddenly went from being on par to literally half of that. He just got completely shut down.

He didn't use an item to speed up, he just turned on Dash.

He didn't use a potion to recover. Remember he gets an option between ability points or a full recovery every day from completing his daily tasks.

Kang is a high B rank, Jinwoo is a high C rank or low B rank.

He was high C low B when he fought the spider boss. He got 3 levels from that, 5 from Cerberus and a bunch of ability points from the secret quest, emergency quest, and his normal daily quests since then. At this point he's well into B, mid B easily.

@@ClusterDSALast week on ep. 8 he showed us he was level 26 only. This is more like C rank. Not sure if he grew any levels in this D dungeon before fighting Kang.

@@Righteous1ist Without a reference the number for his level means nothing. Saying he's 26 so he's C is stupid because we don't have a gage for what level correlates to what rank. What we DO have is relative scale compared to what he has actually fought and how strong he needs to be to fight said thing. The Spider boss required high C or early B to beat it, they tell us this. And he does with some difficulty, so that tells us where he is. High C or early B. The Cerberus was high B or early A, he barely squeaked by there, largely carried by his dagger's abilities. He's gotten significantly stronger from the spider at high C early B to now were a high B wasn't easy, but wasn't overwhelming. Mid B, he's mid B.

@@ClusterDSAYou're also just wildly guessing. He would not be able to beat Kang at all if he didn't have full recovery and special abilities. Jinwoo also has a lot more stats due to getting free points from dailys. He has a few more special abilities than a normal person. That's why he can beat bosses and people above his rank. From my guess E rank is 1-10, D 11-20, C 21-30, B 31-40, A 41-50, S 51-60, SS 61-70, etc.

@@Righteous1ist Not wildly guessing, these are the conclusions the manhwa community came to after discussing it ad nauseam. They are informed estimations based on what information we are given. It comes from looking at what actually happened and working from there. What you have is a wild guess, you've just arbitrarily assigned level ranges to ranks with 0 evidence for them whatsoever. And you've made in incorrect assumption. His skills are factored in for his rank. Because rank is just a measurement of the amount of magic contained within a person. And your skills ARE MAGIC. So they are also adding to your magic when measuring rank. You have confused raw stats with rank. His stats of course do contribute greatly to the amount of magic he has, as everything beyond normal human levels comes from magic as well, but in terms of rank everything he has that isn't an item or the actual system itself is already factored in to his rank were he to be measured. He has more varied skills than what his architype would but archetype and rank aren't the same thing. It's similar to how when they rank a dungeon, they measure the total magic output of the gate and rank it based on that. So not all the monsters in the gate are necessarily the rank of the gate. If there are swarms of monsters they are probably lower rank than the gate and the sheer volume of them causes the higher measured magic output. It's the same for rank, stats are magic and they contribute to overall magic level and thus rank, but skills are also magic and also contribute to overall magic level and thus rank.
