@@jamesfox8823 Downpicking - the process of picking notes using only downward picking to an even percussive tone. Start the verse: 0:35. Downpicking a plenty. Roman is the master of big strong accented upstrokes. The passage after the verse, starting at 1:12 has a big cheeky "dun dun DA" accent on an upstroke that he just does without even thinking about it.

I wish all my favorite songs had a close up of the guitar like this !!

I really loved seeing and hearing it without the vocals so I could really get a sense of the riffs. I just discovered this band and I'm fucking obsessed!

The end of this song never fails to bring out the goosebumps. Even without the epic vocal.

he is not underrated, he is unknown... give him sometime to become more widely recognized.... because no one that has actually seen him play went "oh he is not that good".... i think he makes an impression on anyone who witnesses a video like that where you see him play a whole song

I think that the vocals Tatiana does are outstanding.. especially the singing parts are really creative and not obvious at all! Not to talk about all the instrumental riffs!! 🖤

Thought the same thing. I, at first, wondered why they never played guitar solos, until I actually took note of what this dude's playing... its enough

Band is so talented best thing to happen to metal in the last 5 years at least. Saw them in an intimate setting in 2019 and it was fing incredible pit and all so much fun

Roman is now one of my favourite guitarists. I wish jinjer would sell an individually tracked album like wintersun do, all the individual guitar, drum, bass and vocal tracks for us to deconstruct and enjoy!!
