Word to the wise - a genuine Montblanc refill with threads does not fit in this pen.

Love your green one, i have the black. It really looks elegant, a great accessory when I’m wearing a suit, looks super exec and i get alot of complements on it. Awesome post sir!

I’m curious about what other refills would fit!

Clarification needed! You discussed buying this pen because you were looking for something to use a Montblanc Le Grand rollerball refill in, but you didn't actually use one in the video! Do those refills in fact work in this pen? Another of the comments seems to say it will not.

From the dimensions it is exactly like the 149.

Does it say "Made in Frabce"? All my Jinhao refills are like that. I like theyr G2 style refills, and not only for that funny mistake.

Sal, the pen looks huge. Will the schimdt or ohto rollerball refill fit in this? Interesting pen though.

I can tell you for sure that the Ohto does not fit in the Jinhao 159. However, it does fit in a Jinhao x750 rollerball.

I was under the impression that the Montblanc refill would fit the Jin Hao 159…will it not?

Is yours really made from plastic? I've avoided this pen in the past because I heard they were made from brass.

sir, can this cartridge be opened and filled with fountain pen ink?

For me because it’s huge and rather heavy

Chinese pens are great but the durability is off the chart, i broke my jinhao fountain pen
