Moon is a song from Jin to ARMY. To give you a little context for Awake, when someone speaks about being able to fly in South Korea, they are talking about being able to reach their full potential. When Jin refers to the others or those six, he's talking about the other members of BTS. At the time this song came out, Jin was considered the worst dancer of the group and he was afraid that he was holding them back. He felt that there would be a time when they would leave him behind or he would have to leave the group to allow them to reach their full potential. The song is about that fear and his desire to stay with them as long as he could. The song brings tears to my eyes nearly every time I hear it. Especially when it's performed live. Epiphany live is a whole nother experience and I highly recommend it.

Jin is a very emotional singer! His voice is so special to me. ❤❤❤ My favorite vocalist ❤

Jin's track ABYSS is amazing and underrated. The lyrics are beautiful and relatable. Also Jin has a sub-unit track with Jungkook called STAY. A great dance track. No matter who your bias is in BTS, EVERY ARMY will say that Jin holds a special place in their hearts.💜

Yes, Abyss is my favorite Jin solo song.

Please experience Epiphany live. The lyric video you clicked on was a shortened version taken from the MV. -Abyss is another must from Jin..written during the pandemic, it showcases his deep inner thoughts that we rarely see or hear from Jin. He loves to make people laugh and smile, but this song has depth and his feelings during a rough time. -Tonight is another song to listen to, it's about Jin's pets that past away. Of course, Crystal Snow is an OT7 song, and all the members are showcased so well, but Jin does a triple high note that will blow your mind. Try to find a Jin focused high note fan cam, because unfortunately the cameras were not focused on him during this incredible feat🤷‍♀️ Thanks for your reaction to our World Wide Handsome Jin❗️I look forward to more. Jin has an incredibly versatile voice. They say he has a “silver voice” because he is able To go from chest voice to falsetto seamlessly. The cool thing is he had no interest in singing or dancing. He joined BigHit hoping to be an actor, but at 21 years old, they taught him to sing and dance from zero. It’s amazing how far he has come.

Wait til you see Jin in the epiphany MV or live that man is a walking art piece. Also his Crystal Snow note will have your jaw on the floor.

If you can survive it... you really need to watch a live version of Epiphany. 💜

Seokjin is an actor so he signs the words like he’s literally acting the lyrics out it’s so beautiful 😢

Jin is a funny and hilarious person and doesnt show his sadness and always shows his happy and fun side for army's sake so as to make them feel happyyy .The only way he shows his sad emotions and how his feeling is through his songs...every of his songs is so touching and shows his emotions i love that about him ❤ he's such a precious soul

Try The Astronaut, Abyss, and when you get to subunits, try So Far Away (SUGA, Jin, Jungkook), EPIPHANY LIVE - NO comparison to the studio version!!!!!! Your OT7 journey is gonna be completely mind-blowing....We can't make you understand until you go on the journey....just know that you are going to be so glad you went down that road!

literally all vocalists in BTS are are perfect in their own ways.... but the amount of passion jin puts in while singing is unmatched...you will get to hear him out more in japanese songs...he's the king of japanese songs

I'm still amazed that Jin had to fight to get Big Hit to release Awake on Wings - several times.

Oh, Pat, you've discovered our original visual, our silver-voiced eldest, our Jin. You really need to see him do Epiphany live. It's incredible how much BETTER it is. You also should hear Abyss, and his OST Yours, his goodbye song The Astronaut and of course, Super Tuna. I am so excited for the upcoming BTS marathon. Really there are SO many songs, and not a bad one among them. 💜

Awake is probably my favorite Jin song. I knew you’d love his voice. When he’s live it just projects so well, like he doesn’t even need a mic. He really is WWH too with wide shoulders like the members always say🤣💜

Moon & Abyss are my favourite Jin solo songs, I felt so connected to Jin after listening to Abyss and one of the reason why he is my bias wrecker and in my opinion has the best vocals in the vocal line as his range is amazing.

Jin’s live performances is lit very stable voice and clear. he’s voice is versatile a lot of voice reactor’s always pointed it out .

Ephiphany is literally a spiritual experience. I remember apologizing to myself for all the times I had self doubt/self blame and promised myself to love me more 😢❤ Also- tae was OG bias but Jin is my forever bias. No one else like him

The live version is beyond gorgeous. I witnessed it at CitiField Stadium in NYC in 2018 and there is NOTHING that compares to 40,000 Armys singing "I'm the one I should love" along with Jin, all of our Army bombs blue in the sweet evening air. Just remembering it makes me cry.

The four vocal line in BTS (Taehyung, Jimin, Jungkook and Jin) can hit high notes effortlessly but Jin and Jimin are in charge of hitting higher notes in the group. Jin is an outstanding and powerful vocalist 💯.

Pat, so glad you are vibing with the Jin. Awake is my anthem, so good. You have not had the full Epiphany moment until you see him do it in a live performance. There are stage mixes you can watch that should not get blocked. You should also listen to his demo of Epiphany that is on the Proof album. Can’t wait for your next video. Nothing or no one makes me feel like I do when I hear Jin's beautiful voice...It sounds like something from heaven...and it truly touches the soul! "Epiphany" is my favorite solo song by Jin. Unfortunately the lyric video you listened to took audio from the MV which is why you heard the rain. There's a whole section of the song that you didn't get to hear. Hopefully since this is a part 1 you'll circle back to this song and maybe watch the live performance and get the whole experience of "Epiphany". He also plays the piano during the live performance 😊 💜💜💜

If u could check out his song called Abyss (i believe its about him n his feelings of being lost) he also wrote a letter to Army talking about it which I'm sure could be looked up online whenever u listen to the song, and his latest song the astronaut which is about him leaving us for the military and just him wanting to show his love for us. Abyss is definitely my favorite song from jin but i think sometimes people or reactors don't get recommended it much since most ppl immediately go to epiphany, so if u can plz try to show it some love. Also he has tonight, super tuna and then his 2 OST songs. One OST is with V which is called even if I die, its You and then his other OST is called Yours. Jin kills the Japanese tracks that BTS does so whenever u start doing Japanese BTS songs you'll definitely see that.

Hi! thank you for reacting to the BTS boys! They are truly unique and deserve the love they get. The version of Epiphany you reacted to is a trailer version and not the full song. I recommend you listen to him sing all these songs live because Jin's live performances tend to surpass the studio versions always (actually I say that about all the boys in BTS. They just love performing.) Awake and Epiphany live are spectacular and for Moon we only got an online concert version just like with My Time, Filter and Inner Child. But it's still worth a listen. He also has songs outside of the BTS albums called Tonight and Abyss. Hope you get a chance to hear all of it.

For most of BTS, it really is very different when they do a live version of their songs whether as a group or individually. Suggest you check the live versions out. More powerful vocals and dramatic performances. Also, they do their own backing vocals so yes, what you hear in these songs are all Jin's vocals.

Jin is soooo underrated as a songwriter. Moon, Abyss and Tonight are 3 of my favourite BTS songs.

Jin's lovely emotional voice. Did you know that Moon was voted as the 5th best boyband song of all time, which is strange as it is a solo. After this you really must listen to The Astronaut Jin's leaving song before joining the army. The best listen is the live performance with Coldplay in Argentina. But this is so emotional so be prepared. It is extraordinary to me that when he joined BTS he was chosen for his visuals and couldn't sing or dance. He literally worked so hard to find and nurture that beautiful voice. It is said that for a long time he felt that he wasn't good enough next to all his super talented bandmates. Wow, is he good enough !!

I suggest reacting to the live performances of these songs. They are so much better. For Moon, at 5:37,that adlib was him. in the concert performance, this was the climax by belting and he was so good. For Awake live, climax was 13:55 with another beautiful belting. For Epiphany live, the adlib at 20:25 was the climax. It was a perfect belting. In Jin lives, it is different in terms of him giving emphasis on adlibs and making them climax of his performances. For Awake and Epiphany, the Japanese audience gave him a big applause and standing ovation. These are their highest form of recognition, appreciation and praise for a performance.
