After all those years, when I look back, I still see Witherspoon as one of the greatest blues singers. His music gives me joy and instantly gives me a groovy kind of feeling. So, thank you, Mr. Witherspoon, there is no one coming close to you these days.

A bit "jazzier" that Big Joe Turner. But I think Big Joe Williams could sing with the same backing and arrangements as Spoon with no problem.

Great clip of one of the best blues artists, thanks! The trio is a first rate as well - It's Harold Jones on drums and John Heard on bass, but anybody knows who the pianist is? He's excellent accompanist, but I don´t recognize him.......
