In the summer of 2018, during a three-month road trip, Jimmy Webb made a spontaneous decision to try "Dreamcatcher", the iconic Chris Sharma route in Squamish, British Columbia. This video chronicles his process of training for, and then battling with Dreamcatcher. Enjoy!

    @@EnjoyPlantPower Chris Sharma was strong, had great vision for lines and great opportunity/sponsorships that let him follow it. he put up lots of really stunning and difficult lines all over the world.

    Dreamcatcher is one of the best looking line in the world. The geometry of it, the long scar running against it and the lighting in the cave makes it surreal.

    I remember when Sharma did this but somehow he (and i guess the way it was filmed) made it look like a big boulder problem. This document here shows just how long and sustained this route really is. Fabulous send, and great video.

    they cut the ascend. go watch adam ondras uncut vids. thats what you described in your comment. if you are really looking for what you described, go look into adams vids. no cuts, no speed ups, nothing. no music, just pure raw climbing footage made from real climbers for real climbers. allthough, i am not :D

    @@Schlongusdongus They were clipping a few frames here and there - that's still uncut as far as I'm concerned. I think what you meant to say was, If you want to see "real time" sends just check out Mellow's bouldering footage and not their sport routes

    English really doesn't have that many words to classify rocks. I guess the next size up from boulder would be monolith, although the word "rock" is probably a better choice than that..

    Overall it keeps things cool and dry; your body, the rock. Good for rubber friction. Can be the difference in sending or not. Steady light winds, cool temps and low humidity are ideal climbing conditions.
