He has a beautiful mama. I pray he overcomes his drug addiction and stays healthy. It's so easy to fall into those traps when you're at top of your field. Hope he has a strong support system.

My friend.. usually people become addicts because someone did them wrong as children. (Sexual abuse or physical violence or both.) Drugs are a way to ease the pain. Probably jimmy gives us emotions because he s been hurt bad as a child. (Usually people keep that to themselves.) He s probably the best because of the harm he suffered. Same as in rock or jazz. The best are all drug addicts. Coltrane, jaco pastorius, curt cobain, ray charles, hendrix etc etc. They have things to express through art. Lets just hope at some point jimmy will recover. Music is not even the matter. From what i ve seen he s switched to alcohol and eating disorder. That guy needs to save his life. I m a recovering addict. I been going to hundreds Narcotics anonymous meetings. You always hear the same story.. " i was abused as a child"
