I didn't know he was a writer on the show, the episode with the Chinese delegation was one of the best this season. So many subtle and unexpected jokes, I actually had a "this is great, I wonder who wrote this" moment while watching.

Usually the parent(s) help kickstart their child(ren)'s career, but in this family's case it's the other way around lol and his father is a natural legend! He basically opened the door to the entertainment industry for his father, and he just flew right off the doorstep on his own 🤣

As an Asian guy I really admire this dude’s confidence, especially for someone who fits every Asian male stereotype (short, skinny, glasses, dorky looking). We need more of that kind of confidence. I think that attribute made him and Nina Dobrev a cute couple in Love Hard.

Love spaceforce. Such a nice little show to just sit back, relax and laugh. Nice break from all the overwhelming shows with complex story lines and surprises. I love shows like that but sometimes you just need something simple to watch.

It's actually funny, the O in Jimmy O. Yang's name isn't short for anything, his Chinese surname is Ouyang, but O. Yang is easier for westerners to understand. You can tell because his dad's name is Richard Ouyang and is credited as such.

This our guy from Hong Kong. He used to live across our street before he moved out around aged 10. Now we know he became a famous guy in US.

Awesome that he put together that sizzle real for his dad to pitch him to the director. Jimmy is a real one. Major respect.

That was the best episode of the season honestly. Enough comedy to make you really laugh, but enough heart to make you connect with the characters. Especially the father daughter moment.

I miss Silicon Valley. Some of the funniest scenes were with Jimmy alongside TJ Miller. Hilarious stuff!

You should check out "How To American" on Audible. It's narrated by Jimmy himself, so it's hilarious and interesting to hear about his journey as an immigrant.

Space Force is underrated. Netflix better give us another season to resolve that cliffhanger 😤😤😤

My husband and I have become such fans of Jimmy O. Yang! He is hilarious and so adorable! Love his cooking videos too!

Papa Ouyang's got the "I can rest my eyes on any chair" energy! Yes... if you ask him, my dad, or any other dads out there... they'll say they were just resting their eyes. NEVER asleep.

Love it when your old folks fearlessly just do stuff and it actually works out

I loved listening to him narrate his book on Audible. He’s amazing.

My favorite role of his was the scientist monitoring Charlie when he took placebee "smart pills" in It's Always Sunny.

Jimmy Yang has to be one of the funniest people on earth. Love this guy, I watch everything he’s on because I know he’s good no matter that movie or show it is

His humor is wonderful… I enjoyed his clips on KZread, he cooks breakfast and does everyday things on those but he drops those sarcastic stingers here and there.. he is a delight to listen and to watch… I hope he continues to have success so we could enjoy his wonderful wit!

His parents have got to be so proud of him and he has got to be so proud of his dad as well. So interesting!

Had the chance to hang out with him randomly back before Crazy Rich Asians came out. We went out for Karaoke and drinks in Ktown. Very nice guy. Have a bunch of actor friends back then, glad they all found success.

I am also a Kimmel. We're Pennsylvania Dutch. There are lots of Kimmels out there, actually. In my generation alone, there are 21 of us cousins descended from 4 brothers. This doesn't even count their cousins descended from Kimmels. 18 of us had children. 12 are men with the last name Kimmel which passed to their children. Generally, of course, the women's children take their father's last name... Loved this interview with Jimmy O Yang! Aside from his great humor, he has the most infectious grin!
