"the microphone is dripping" it's really the attention to detail that eric and his crew puts in that makes this show so good

Honestly Kimmel puts out an amazing performance here. All the helpless looking about and blank looks, the genuine appreciation in his voice for the lice check, the speech disfluencies and unfinished bits of dialog. You can tell he's totally along for the ride, even if he understands none of it.

This is a perfect clip of how the Eric Andre show works. It's not just stupid chaos. It's meticulous, well-thought tropes tailor fit to the guest in order to ridicule them and traumatize them as much as possible. From the Lackluster introduction, mocking Kimmel's overexagerated persona; to low-value production to contrast Jimmy Kimmel show's clean well though out jokes; to the extremely exagerated laughing at the stupidest jole

I love how hannibal gets caught off guard when jimmy questions him, since no one ever pays attention to the weird shit he says.

Fun fact: in the Larry king interview, Eric said someone was tickling kimmels bum under the chair.
