It’s more of old school comedy which is just joke after joke, a lot of new comedy is storytelling.

There's a handful of really talented UK comics that most Americans don't know about. Jimmy Carr is one of them.

After all these years that's the first time I've ever seen Jimmy do a routine outside the UK. Bit of a mixed reaction from the crowd there in Montreal. Although they looked a bit older than his Brit audiences. He plays to 20-30,000 in stadiums in the UK and Ireland. Thanks for the upload though. Nice one fellas. 👍🏻😁

I've been to one of his shows in Belfast N.Ireland & i heckled him. He loves it & when the bouncers tried to kick me out, he told them to "fuck off" he's fine. And came back to me later in the show to have a bit of banter. He's a brilliant comedian & good egg

Jimmy Carr is proof that American women (or at least my wife) just love an accent. I'm really into standup and my wife is only somewhat into it. I've shown her a lot of specials from some of my favorites and she doesn't like the gross/dirty material. But for reasons unbeknownst to me she loves Jimmy Carr and Jim Jefferies.
