Yup - That was Simply The Best. Tina & Jimmy sang brilliantly together 👍
Tina loved coming to Australia to perform. She also starred in the Australian Mad Max movie, "Thunderdome". Jimmy was a great fan of her, and we Aussies loved her.
There is a short interview on aussie tv, just after she passed, Jimmy was talking about this day, he met Tina then. They had takeaway lunch, and champagne sitting on the floor. The filming people asked him to dance, he reckoned that would not go well, she said, she'd make him look good. He was influenced by her style, sang along with her on the radio growing up. Sneaked into the venue with his little mates and saw her on stage as a kid, decided he'd sing as an adult. Did you see her rejoicing when he hit the high note?

Hey Deb. It wasn’t Tina’s song, she covered it in 1989. The original was sung by Bonnie Tyler in 1988 and written by Mike Chapman and Holly Knight 😊❤

@Dr_KAP Thanks Kappy. I had no idea Bonnie sang it first. I actually have never heard her sing it 😊 It's really funny I was just thinking of you and thought I hadn't seen you for a while and then this pops up 😍 Hope you're doing much better now ❤️

@@AussieDebb I have to admit I do prefer the original by Bonnie but overall I’m not a huge fan of the song, it just makes me think of growing up having to watch rugby league with my sport obsessed family 🤣 🤦♀️

@Dr_KAP I grew up with sports mad brothers - 5 of them but I do love cricket and some tennis and soccer. My kids did gymnastics, trampolines and played soccer, basketball, touch footy, baseball and cricket (not all at the same time LOL! I only watch State of Origin footy. 😍
