@@banjoboy01 one thing though is Brad Garrett's humor is always pretty self deprecating, while neither Bill Maher or Dennis Miller use self deprecation much at all. I get the sense that they are all just using their own sense of humor to contribute to the act, and Brad's works more here (though frankly, if he acted more offended at Jiminy's comments it could have upped the humor a bit more).

Agreed. I'm thinking that Billy Crystal was the worst sport. He seemed genuinely annoyed that Jiminy kept misrepresenting his role on Soap. He sounded pretty homophobic. And when he said I'm really only here to hawk my movie--he seemed to mean it.

Brad Garrett is a really interesting story in that he was mainly an obscure voice actor until he got the role on Raymond- a show that started out slowly and no one I think expected to become a mega-hit. But I dare he never really "made it" until he got the Jiminy Glick treatment here.
