Those fans who only liked Jimin for his abs are pathetic and such fakes. People like them are the main reason why Jimin had such low self confidence, and felt pressured to live up to the title of the guy in Bangtan who has abs. His diet story is heartbreaking. He overcome it since last year he said multiple times how positive and happy he is now how he is able to overcome his own negativity and look the bright side of things often he got a lot of help from his members and now can breath more lightly. Fans needs to shake off that thinking that he is a damsel in distress or he is fragile still. He is not HE IS STRONG ND WE NEED TO BE HAPPY FOR HIM :)

I wouldn't say that he has overcome it completely. You can tell based on how he still talks about himself sometimes that he still has doubts and insecurities but he is much happier and healthier than he used to be and he's strong. With his own strength and the love and support of his members, friends, family and most of all ARMY who he loves so much, he'll continue to prosper.

I haven’t finished watching the video but my heart breaks when I see jimin like this. I’m so glad and thankful that he’s grown and is confident about himself. I wish I was there then to remind him how beautiful he is, both in and out. I know as he grew older, he got to know himself more but I’m also so thankful for all the other members for helping him overcome his insecurities and loving him throughout everything . And for jungkook, I think I don’t have to say anything. I’m so proud of the person he’s become as well. Alsooo all the other members, I’m especially focusing on jikook because this is a jikook video but I love these 7 men more than most things in the world and I hope I get to meet them one day and tell them how special they all are.

💛💙 This one is really good. Though your every vid is good, but to me personally this one really touched to people's heart. Seeing ourselves through our OWN eyes (being our true self) Vs through people's eyes (who wants us to be specificaly the way They want it) is a battle. Gguk is really a careful person, even more with Jimin and his needs. Jungkook as a person is really impulsive, not careful. He acts on his instincts, changes his hobby's out of nowhere, his quick emotional outburst once in a while. So really it's quite the opposite and he even described himself as such. Jungkook is also not careful towards others, he's just really observant/attentive, especially towards Jimin's emotions. When people associate the word 'careful' with a person, it makes me think that people believe that they're made of glass, that they're delicate because it means that the person is cautious towards the other, like they don't want to spook the animal any further. You probably didn't mean it that way but that's why i hate the word. Jimin is really strong, he has his demons but who doesn't. On his vulnerable days, where it takes more effort to stay positive and don't jump in the wormhole of insecurities, he overcomes it. He's more himself now and he's in a good headspace. He finally said he's happy with no 'buts', just that he's happy. I was so fucking glad. He's glowing and he's more confident. That's why i love his song ''promise'' it's proof to us that he's trying! and also to tell us that we're not alone with this. Nobody is.

Jimin did say he was a bit hurt when Jungkook always ranked him last place in looks. Even though he knew JK was joking, I think there was a part of him that made him feel like it was true even if it really wasn't. So, I guess JK became more aware of this, and decided to rank him first place. Maybe as a way to tell him that he really is beautiful and that no one should tell him otherwise. Adorable.

The life is hard and true love is real. True lovers fix their problems and move ahead no matter how others try to push them away from each other. Same thing goes with jikook. No matter what others say about them jungkook and jimin going to live their life TOGETHER FOREVER. 💕✌

Actually that is what called going too far for me. They already know that people ship them together and even think that they are in a relationship but all of that did not distant jikook. If they were uncomforatable they would behave like just normal friends but now we can really say that they are together. They are too close to be just friends but you can think otherwise since it is your right.

Jimin is so blessed with natural appeal he is so talented, smart, funny so supportive of all his brothers loves them one and all but with all that he must remember that we are only human and perfect in a not perfect way beautiful just as we are abs no abs fat thin does not matter it is the person that Jimin is inside that everyone loves the one that races to your side to fix a hurting heart and wipe sad tears away, always there to help. Jimin became my bias bc I noticed him second, first was namjoon. Obviously I didn’t notice him bc of his looks bc I thought that Jin was Jimin too. I notice him bc of his cute personality, at beginning I didn’t really like any bts song so I didn’t know that Jimin have abs. I liked bts bc of their personality, I watched so many bts related videos like bts in America or Jimin being a Mochi. When I listen to bst, I started to like their song, than found out Jimin had abs. It’s took a couple weeks to find out that Jimin had an eating disorder, I cried so much when I watched it. I always thought of him as a confident and outgoing person so when I found out he had an eating disorder that broke my heart.

Eating disorder is a medical diagnosis, which doctor diagnosed him with that? Teenage Jimin was constantly made fun of by his members by calling him “fat”, ranked him last on looks multiple times. One of them called him “pig”, they also teased him for his height. How do you think a teenager would react to that? This video is a nice cover up for JK, but I’m not fully convinced, I’m sorry!

Don't delulu me ok, but Jungkook is really careful and conscious of Jimin, he take the utter care of him, not only praise him but encourage him, is his best friend and in the video of unboxing MOTS Persona. They touch and act so lovely that reminds me, my bf and me silly and careful touches here and there. I really appreciate their bond :')

Yes everything we do is our decision in the end...but it makes a difference if you are severely pressured into sth or not.

I love everything about these two! Jimin is so much more then just looks and that’s why I like him so much. Also, JK has a special smile I call “The Jimin Smile” cause it only comes out with him. These two together are amazing. JK’s eyes are always so full of love an you can tell he really adores Jimin as a whole person. I love watching videos of them when I’m down cause I always end up smiling.

Thanks for bringing this to light about Jimin and the role Jungkook play in Jimin' s confidence. We all need someone who can help us in what ever we are lacking without laughing at us. Jimin is so sweet, caring, and affectionate towards his brothers. They all love the fact that Jimin is there to give them comfort with his sincered hugs and smiles and he would like that in return but his brothers are not affectionate like him. Having Jungkook to praise and show him affection mean a lot to Jimin and I'm glad he is receiving that from his little brother. Even though they are celebrities doesn't mean they don't have in securities about themselves cuz they all have even including the world handsome V. V trust communicating with Jimin about his inner problems because he doesn't want to be teased and Jimin is good at keeping that private. Like Jimin stated before he doesn't expressed his pain or frustration to his brothers and he has his reasoning. Sometimes folks don't have to explain themselves what on their minds but if you are paying attention to people around then you can sense their fear, joy and wondering thought. Jimin is always watching his brothers, therefore quick to see if something is wrong without hesitation he runs over and give a hug. It is so sad that some so fans think it is something more between the two boys then actual brotherly love. There are folks out there who don't believed two boys can have pure brotherly love without being biological. Most people believed only females can have such closeness without thinking otherwise but when it comes to two males their thinking become sexual. In Western world men are not giving flowers but only females. Who made such rules that flowers could only be given to women but not men. The Western world came up with that, the same as the color Pink, it is known to be identified with women only. If a guy wears pink jacket, pants; he's look at as weird or gay. There are culture differences out there in the world and if you study or pay a close attention to the Koreans'society or culture, the males born are given more attention, more affection and are more valuable in the family compared to the females. Jimin was brought up with love and I believed he was sure about himself until he became a trainee . This were a person still need to encourage about their body and how they look but because of the society of K-pop., The demand that you have to look certain way had made lot of young folks in secure about themselves and even after they have made changes to their images they still feel they are not good enough. The disatisaction of their looks that were told them from the beginning that they had to change in order to continue within the industry have left lot of folks with scares. I'm glad Jimin has Jungkook to bill up his confidence and if someone is up lifting your spirit you would like to be around the person all the time, it doesn't mean you don't like others.. They all care and love each other but at the same time each person has someone they are more closed to or make them feel great about themselves.

Yes it's true we all need other people to help us out of our insecurities. JK might not be as affectionate as Jimin but he still gives a lot to his members. Jimin said that his stress is reduced when JK comes to his room and makes him laugh. They have a beautiful relationship :)

Time and again, I've seen idols succumb to the pressure of having to be someone or something that they aren't by nature and it's only after years of success, and sometimes mental and emotional breakdowns, that they're able to shed that faux identity and fully embrace and portray their true selves. And the sad reality is that fans don't always support their true selves because the 'person' they fell in love with is who the company manufactured. I'm glad that Jimin is thriving now and that ARMY have largely been supportive of him. I still see people that say they miss the way he looked during that period where he wasn't doing so well mentally and emotionally(really glad you included that part where he pointed out fans' hypocrisy) but the majority, I believe, are very much in love with who he is today.

It's true and Jin was also the victim of this at the beginning. He even admitted that the company wanted his image to be really quiet and polite. I'm glad that all the boys distanced themselves away from that and are able to live more genuine lives. :)

The tears are real. Keeping aside the fact that JK is really really supportive of Jimin and just genuinely enjoys his company; everything about Jimin in this video touched my heart. We know he's had a tough time and you are right somedays he still might but I sincerely hope he overcomes it and is happy always. I love that he's found confidence in himself and I hope we keep supporting him just like we do now.

I think he is a lot happier now. He's been glowing for the past year. He looks really content and I think he's not as hard on himself now except when he has to be (to improve his art).

His fans must respect and love him because he is an amazing human being and a beautiful dancer, singer and performer. His fans are always in a total competition and he is seeing all this behavior. The message that all his fans is sending to him is “we need you be hansome, fitness, well dressed and the most viewed, and the most awarded. “THAT’S WHY HE FEELS HE IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH” the problem is his fans HE WAS, HE IS AND WILL BE PERFECT!!

This video was amazing! You did such a good job showing not only how supportive and affectionate JK is to JM but also what an amazing and astounding person JM is. And the whole section starting at 10:22 during the “I See You” song absolutely destroyed me. It’s the look on JK’s face when he looks at JM from the background when he feels he’s hidden from sight that tells the whole story. Those are not “fanservice” moments. Those are private moments when he feels like he doesn’t have to hide what he feels and can get caught up in the glory of his beautiful baby. JK’s eyes are truly windows to his soul. If you pay attention you will see nearly every emotion he feels expressed in them. Love, wonder, excitement, jealousy, sadness, frustration, even rare moments of anger. It’s all there in his eyes. And his eyes when he looks at Jimin throughout this section express the pure adoration and worship he feels towards him. I was sobbing and praying that they can be together forever with that kind of love and adoration in their hearts for each other.

Why can’t you admire a friend that you helped out and are really proud at the steps they have taken to improve themselves. What I saw in the video was an older brother/friend type person building up his younger brother/friend! (Yes I know JK is younger, but not in mind). I saw nothing romantic and why does every action by any member with another member turn into some crazy ass ship! They are all brothers and they all help each other out!

Kathi Kai Would a brother kiss, suck and bite your ear as JK did to JM at the Rose Bowl recently in front of basically the whole world, even with the Korean Skinship thing between friends that was unsual and Korean men have commented about it too. There are other signs too but It’s your right to have your own view. We all love them and that’s what matters most.💜

I saw between them alot of love but it doesn't mean you must have to feel the same thing. But the important thing if you're not interested it's up to you just leave it but please don't bother others let them do what they want. I am not sure how to express what i came to realize thanks to this video, but i will try. As we all know, since day one Jungkookie being the maknae has practically been raise by the members with all the love in the world, and we know as well that specially jimin has always openly showed him love and praised him at any given chance. So jungkookie has always felt really thankful towards jimin for that because he was really shy and insecure as well. Since the early days the love that jimin showed him was so strong that before he even knew it and before he fell in love with jimin, i think what he started to do was asociate jimin with reaceiving love so with time jimin became love, jimin became the actual definition of love in jungkooks mind. And with time he wanted to be for jimin what jimin was for him. He started treating jimin just how jimin treated him. He became the jimin to jimin. I just realized that and i thought it is fucking beautiful, they are the best character development and realationship goals indeed

Jimin is very innocent , forthright and Frank person. He talked about his insecurities. That is what people are depreciating, had he not talked about them openly, nobody would have known As for other members nothing much is spoken, hence we don't know much about it. Even if spoken , it is spoken in a very positive way. From the beginning he was the most talented and visible member, every show where he was called he was praised. Then how come insecurities will come. Every person has some or other insecurities, some talk most of them don't talk as our society is very judgemental. I thought this exists in India only but now I can relate it, it exists every where. People have started hating jimin for no reason. Only I think he should have never spoken on camera or media. Every growing child goes through this phase. Jungkook, Taehyung were never exposed about their insecurities coz they didn't come to public. I feel let's respect talent and kindness of jimin.

Tbh, jimin and the other members went through alot. Each one having their own insecurity, and the big thing is that they try make us love ourselves. I can't believe there are 7 guys out there that have no idea who I am, but still love me😔😊 this video was great btw💜 #wesupportjikook:)

There is one part of me who relates to jimin in a way that im never confident enough and too critical of myself to actually acknowledge any good qualities i have. Yes I remember that. And Jin also said that the company had a particular image for him as well....Jin at the beginning of BTS was very quiet, reserved, polite. He said that wasn't his real personality. The Jin we know today (still polite but he is crazy, life of a party, funny as hell, loud) is to an extent probably still adapted to the cameras but I think it's a lot closer to his real personality. It was the same for Jimin and even Jungkook. Idk if you remember but JK was actually forbidden from going to the gym (at the beginning) because the company wanted to preserve his "boyish image" aka no muscles, looking really young. I'm really glad that the company let loose a little bit and allowed the boys to be more themselves and to pursue whatever they wanted in life.

I'm glad bts member can be more who they are today. And i pray this also happen for jikook as a couple. That they can show their true selves as they speak about in all of their music. Ps: i dont think i can bare to wait for 10 more years for jikook to be open (mostly idol open about their personal relationshipp after they're over 35) 😭😭😭

People always misconstrue Jungkook's affection towards Jimin... Jimin was 17 almost 18 when Jk joined Bts... Jimin knew what and who was for the most part.. Jk was a baby who was lost and confused and couldn't deal with all Jimin's affection..... it scared him. But I believe the only that scares him now is losing Jimin... and that's what I call a glow up... I wish these two nothing but happiness
