Jimin is the main dancer and lead vocalist in the group. He knows how to rap but not his forte. but in that song he nailed the rapping thingy.💜💜 Army's was shooked we all like "is that Jimin?"

The tattoo is actually a German poem called "widening circles" which is related to the theme of his song. Jimin is also in a structure called the Panapticon, which is designed to be the perfect PRISON.

70 year old BTS Army here. There are two main dancers in BTS. Jimin and J-hope. Jimin is also one of the lead vocalists. Jung Kook is the main vocalist. He is not a rapper, but all of the members have rapped at times, although there are only 3 actual rappers in the group. This can all be a little confusing. They are ALL extremely good at performing. The rap line is truly unique and amazing and the same for the vocal line. They sometime say curse words during their live performancers, especially during their Cypher series. When they all come together as a group, there is no other group as exceptionally amazing as BTS. That is because each member individually is exceptionally amazing. Thanks for your great reaction! 💜

Sienna Lalau of the Lab dance group is the choreographer behind this. She also choreographed "ON" and "Run BTS" choreograhies. The Lab is out of LA and has worked with BTS as their backup dancers at their concerts in LA and in Las Vegas and also at last year's Grammy Awards. The studio you are seeing is actually at the HYBE Building. Hybe is BTS label and the company that manages them.

The writing on Jimin's body is a German poem. Here's the text. Ich lebe mein Leben Poet/Lyricist: Rainer Maria Rilke (1875-1926) I live my life in growing orbits which move out over the things of the world. Perhaps I can never achieve the last, but that will be my attempt. I am circling around God,around the ancient tower, and I have been circling for a thousand years, and I still don’t know if I am a falcon, or a storm, or a great song. There's also a making of video for the music video that is very interesting to watch as well.

This song is such a banger, ive been waiting for it for ages and now it's finally here. I'm in love with the choreo as its so jimin. I love jimins vocals in the song aswell,vand the lyrics relatable aswell. I also love the MVs darker colours aka the black and blue as they really set the mood Jimins is trying to create and this is a side of jimin I've been waiting to see and I love it.

Jimin is a vocalist and main dancer. He studied contemporary dance as well as hip hop. He has such a unique voice, he’s so talented and special. I would recommend watching Taylor’s guide to the BTS members to get to know them better, it’s brilliant. This song and his album that is coming out is about his depression and how he overcame it in the pandemic. He has also suffered depression in the past too. The tattoos are a German Poem Widening Circles by Rilke…. Jimin does have several real Tattoos, he has Nevermind on his ribs, 7 on his finger, 13 on his wrist (his birthday and BTS debut) he has moon phase down his spine, youth behind his ear and young forever on each arm above the elbow. There isn’t a part 1 of this song as such. It is a nod to Suga’s track Set me free part 1. The room is one of their practice studios in the HYBE building, they use it a lot…and sometimes do shoot hoops between practice……..thanks for the support for Jimin, he is AMAZING!

As well BTS own many shares in HYBE, It is widely known fact, that HYBE is the house that BTS built. Should Google the homes and cars they own and each net worth. And it’s the government that banned cursing in media, three of Jimins songs won’t chart because of it, he knew this…and did it anyway. Flex? I think so.

jimin is a vocalist, not a rapper in bts. this is the bts practice room in the ''hybe'' building. the dancers work independently at hybe, sometimes you see the same faces even at concerts or shows. as a group the songs that the members sing has no cursing in their lyrics. individual members swear like crazy in their lyrics, suga is notorious and crude, rm is direct and rude and j-hope is polite and hard, when they deliver their verses. now we have jimin, who naturally has a very soft high tone to his voice, use auto tune while cursing on purpose to deliver forcefulness to the verses.💜

@BTM TV Jimin is the guy that you thought looked like a girl and said he reminded you of a girl you used to date because of his look’s in the reaction you did to BTS Dynamite. He’s one of the vocalist of BTS. They are not going their separate way’s. They are having to join the military because it’s required in Korea so since the oldest member Jin joined the military in December they are not performing as a group for now and are doing their solo work until it’s their time to join. The next to join is J-Hope. Thank you for your reaction tho.

Jimin is the MAIN dancer and lead vocalist of BTS! He is versatile dancer who learned alot of types such as hiphop, isolation, popping, ballet, contemporary dance, traditional dance, etc. And he is versatile in martial arts, such as Chinese martial arts, taekondo (black belt), etc. He have unique voice and tone and have high natural notes and voice. He is the most talented artist i have ever seen❤❤❤❤ please check him out.

The dance practice was done in BTS own practice room in the HYBE Building. It has almost the size of a basketball court. The other artist of BigHit have their own practice rooms and studios. BTS practice studio is the biggest. And it has been used on their mv's like Butter.

Jimin's a vocalist, not a rapper, but he does know how to rap obviously. I mean BTS debuted as a HIP HOP Idol group in South Korea, and so all the guys know how to rap. RM, SUGA, J-HOPE are the Rap Line of the group, but Jungkook used to be more of a rapper, but became the main vocalist of the group, and Jiimin is the lead vocalist, but he's rapped on a couple songs. I like what he did with this song. I'm looking forward to his album drop in 3 hours. And, he is going to be on The tonight show with Jimmy Fallon tonight, and tomorrow night.

Jimin is a lead dancer and vocalist. The rappers are rm, jhope and suga. Jhope's solo album came out last summer . Suga is going on tour at the end of April and should release a new album soon. Suga has cursed in his songs. The tattoo is a german poem that links to the song. Jimin said this song is about a time when he was lost and depressed. He discovered that he was the only one that could set him self free. The set was built especially for this video to represent a prison. Jimin is a trained dancer he studied hip hop, ballet and contemporary. They have their main choreographer and they work with others . The young woman who choreographed this is the same one who diid on and a couple of others.Her name is siena and she is from los angeles. The room he is praciticing in bts parctice studio, the building where hybe is located is complete with every thing they and their other artists need.

Yes, he’s main dancer! ‘Main’ and ‘lead’ have the opposite meaning- Main is ‘first’, lead is ‘second’. He is also lead singer.

Suga from BTS has a song called Interlude: Set Me Free. The reason this is called Pt. 2. Others in the title there's no real correlation between the two songs however some have pointed out that the subject matters of a similar nature. Cussing in their videos/live performances is not an unusual thing. RM and Suga and J-Hope do it on the regular. Their songs don't typically get radio airplay anyway. Only two or three of them have had air play in the United States. Jimin is actually one of the four vocalists from BTS. RM, Suga and J-Hope are the three rappers. As you can see that is not to say that they all cannot cross over from rapper to vocalist and vice versa when they choose to.

That's the BTS practice room at HYBE HQ. As for the language...have you met Suga's alter ego AgustD? If not check out the MV AgustD. Then there's Joke by RM.

Thank you for your genuine reaction, keeping an open mind to Jimin's language choice in his song. This is Jimin's internal struggle, talking to himself at a time he felt lost and depressed during the pandemic. So, if he was cursing, the direction may be to his thoughts and feelings at such instance and therefore, understandable and relatable? Who didn't felt that way at some point at that time when our world was put upside down and we became uncertain and seemingly hopeless of the future? Real ARMY know how Jimin felt at the time, and I could even remember how hurt he was crying during an online BTS concert.... Anyway, thanks for appreciating Jimin but to put the record straight, Jimin is a lead vocalist of BTS, not a rapper. That's why this song is a pleasant, anticipated surprise. New subsciber here...💜

2:42 Haha, unfortunately BTS became famous for Butter and Dynamite in the west, and they've become associated with a cookie cutter clean pop sound but no these guys lean Hip Hop. ARMY knows the members cuss. They have in many of their songs, especially the rapline (Suga, RM and J Hope) - you should check out their Cyphers 1-4, I think you might like it. But you're not completely wrong, this would be the first time we've heard Jimin cuss. Guess he needed to vent and I love it!

LOL yeah so the members have used profanity primarily in their truly solo work but generally not in their group songs or solos from the group albums. And don't even get me started about how radio refused to play them (for the most part - a few stations actually listen to their listeners who request their music 😅). Glad you reacted and saw this. Loving his new album so much! Thanks for sharing!

BTS make their own music. They make the beats, music, lyrics and produce it. They have a say on concepts and artistic control over all content. No one is telling them what to do whether they are making music with the group or in individual projects. They colab fully with each other without issues. RM, Suga (AgustD), and J-Hope all swear in songs. BTS certainly does NOT only produce "radio freindly pop songs". You are new so please check your assumptions at the door until you see more. Can't wait until all members of BTS are back from manditory military service in 2025. Until then we can enjoy all their solo projects and past content. Welcome to the BTS world, they are awesome!

"Set Me Free" is a track on Suga's second mix-tape "D-2". Jimin said in an interview that they are not directly correlated, but have similar themes so he named his "Pt.2". BTS have sworn in their songs. They don't swear OFTEN, but they do swear... and 95% of their 300+ song discography are B-side tracks and most of their lead singles rarely saw radio play.

In his solo album 'FACE', Jimin honestly expressed the various emotions he felt during the COVID-19 pandemic for about two years. 'FACE' contains the story of facing yourself and preparing for a new beginning as an artist. 'Set Me Free Pt.2', which will be released in advance, is a song in the hip-hop genre, containing a determined will to get rid of various emotions such as pain, sadness and emptiness and move forward freely. From serious lyrics and melodies to Jimin's RAP, there are so many points of appreciation." Jimin is definitely breaking free from the confines of his own mind... his insecurities... .being okay with all sides of him... scene at the end, Jimin being lifted up looked so familiar. It's really reminiscent of John Constantine's "visit" to hell to find out if the twin sister was really there. That scene is truly epic, all those demons trying to pull him back To this day, my favorite movie that I keep watching every few years and still discovering new things. In Jimin's case, it now feels like instead of pulling him down, his demons are lifting him up. What's that saying : if you can't fight your demons, make friends with them? I think that's why he used his full voice in this song, and that's why we are all shocked, we were waiting for Jimin's sweet voice and him told us to go away with full voice and all the haters! He's a man he chooses to be, not one we decide. I'm really glad he slapped many in the face!! I love you jiminshii!!!! NOTE: THE AUTO TUNES IN THE VOICE WAS INTENTIONAL, AND MEANS THE VOICES OF THE HATERS THAT INSIST IN ATTACKING HIM, THAT'S WHY THE "FUCK YOU" IS SO EXPRESSIVE. BTS actually curse a lot, both in their group songs and their solo projects. It's always funny to see people find out that they really don't give af; if that's what they wanna say, they're gonna do it. 😂 They've always had a lot more creative freedom than what's the norm in Kpop but they've also faced a lot more opps along the way. I just want to clarify one thing: The song is not about being free from BTS. On the contrary he has said that it's about determination, passion and overcoming and him setting himself free mentally. He doesn't want to "embarrass the other members", he "wants to be a proud member of BTS". These guys truly love and support each other and have always been allowed to make their own solo stuff outside of the group. They're just focussing more on that part at the moment because they also have to serve in the military over the next couple of years (Jin is already there, J-Hope is going very soon 😢).

La escenografía de "Set Me Free Pt.2" fue inspirada por el panóptico de Jeremy Bentham. Básicamente, se trata de un diseño arquitectónico para una prisión en la que todas las celdas están dispuestas en torno a una torre central de vigilancia. Desde esa torre, un guardia puede observar a todos los reclusos sin ser visto, creando así una sensación de constante supervisión y control. La idea detrás del panóptico es que la mera posibilidad de ser observado en todo momento sería suficiente para disuadir a los reclusos de comportarse mal, lo que a su vez reduciría la necesidad de emplear medidas disciplinarias más coercitivas. En resumen, el panóptico es una forma de organización social basada en la vigilancia y el control constante de las personas, que busca disuadir el comportamiento indeseado mediante la presencia permanente de una figura de autoridad.

Bruh the cussing is vital for this MV that’s why….

BTS have cursed plenty of times in their music before, especially the rap line in their solo music videos. And they aren't just taking a break to explore their solo artistry, they all have to serve in the Korean military because it's mandatory soon so they are releasing solo projects before they have to enlist for a minimum of 18 months. But they are still a group and plan to reunite after their service is complete.

You should watch other BTS dance practice videos, nearly all are filmed in their company's practice rooms. Some of their coolest dance practice vids are Fire, Danger, Mic Drop (MAMA dance break ver.), Fake Love, Blood Sweat and Tears, Idol, Black Swan, DNA, Dionysus. Baepsae is one of their easier choreographies, but it's the #1 coolest for me for how swaggy it is.

BTS cover all genres not just pop. You will be surprised if you check out the rap line. They usually don't curse on the group song for broadcasting purpose. SK is still very strict, but the rappers curse on their raps.

We all liked to see this side of Jimin because he is a sweet boy. But, BTS always sends people to shit, in a more subtle way (not always) but the message was clear, the group was never characterized by being just love, much less rappers (J-hope maybe). Jimin is a singer with Jungkook, V and Jin, the rappers are RM, J-hope and Suga. Jimin was always affected by hate, he was one of the most attacked and with this song he frees himself from all that and leaves his fears behind, as he says, even if it hurts he will not hide anymore. They are still members of BTS, the resources are the same.

I enjoyed your reaction. The comment you made about BTS making radio songs all the time was a perfect indictment on the Western industry. Unfortunately, it took the group releasing "poppy" songs with little lyrical substance for the U.S. to give them radio play. While BTS does throw in a "radio" song or a diss track every now and then, their music typically speaks more to sociological, psychological, and emotional subject matter. Our guys are no strangers to cursing on tracks both as a group and solo even in different languages. With that said, this is a departure for our Jimin as a soloist. The solo projects have allowed our guys to experiment more with their sound, and I'm enjoying every bit of it.

So far for this chapter of their solo career, J-Hope, RM, and now Jimin, have released albums, as well as Jin (solo single), Suga will probably be next. but all of them except JIN have cussed in thier songs now. Also, they have songs from their albums that have some cuss words in them, they just might beep them out on the the recorded versions. You should listen to I Like it, Beapsae, Born Singer, Hip Hop Lover, UGH!, their Cyphers. Those were all on their albums. By the way, the dance practice was at the Hybe building in South Korea. That is the Company their Label Big Hit Music is under. That was one of the dance studios. BTS's Dance Studio I think is somewhat bigger than that one. BTS doesn't curse...but in their solo careers..they aren't BTS. They are individuals. Suga as AugustD curses a lot...and so does RM in his solo stuff.

bts DOES curse. you seem like you need to listen to their group music more cause theyve cursed plenty times. not just their solo work.
