It’s okay to not like it, it’s their personal preference but Just don’t be shtty about it. I personally don’t like that part as well but I enjoy the rest of the song and the mv. I know it’s an artistic style or choice but it’s not just my cup of tea but I don’t go around throwing hate about it. I LOVE the album tho! It’s been on repeat since its release

He used auto tune as a way to create multiple voice sounds. He had to differentiate the sound, multiple American rappers have “wack” lyrics and I feel dumb just listening to them. I love how creative Jimin and bts are.

You guys are funny and unserious. It’s totally understandable that you are half dismissive and half amused. I was the same way when I first got into BTS. I was actually worse because I thought they were a joke. I hate boy band groups western or Asian and I’m not into Kpop much. But something kept pulling me in, and what do you know…I’ve been a fan for 6 years now. They are actually story tellers and respect and care about the music very much. So give them more chance, and you might find yourself surprised more often than not. Thanks for the reaction.

At 57 years old, I’m not too old to be a BTS fan, but I’m apparently too old for these guys’ reaction. Laughing and borderline mocking the entire time and then “it was good” at the end sounded an awful lot like fishing for subs. Maybe you’ll prove me wrong, though. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I understand guys but everyone reacts differently, they are not army so they don't have the same love for the members as we do. I for one genuinely enjoyed their reaction because they kept it real and they were respectful and honest. For the people who are new to BTS or their music let's please give them room to grow and fall in love with the boys at their own pace. I even prefer constructive criticism rather then simply stating “good”. It’s the laughter, that I have problem with. I felt very uncomfortable, they were laughing and I genuinely did not understand what or why they were laughing so hard!

the bubble gum kpop doesnt apply to bts they have maybe 5 bubblegum pop tracks in their entire discography. you guys should react to more bts/the members solo music. also the autotune was on purpose. bts isnt typical kpop. they do ALL genres and they write their own lyrics. their music is deeper than most "pop" music. theyre more like a collective than a kpop group or boyband.

JIMIN is my bias from BTS and the whole album is a masterpiece... JIMIN itself is an art. He worked hard with this album and it deserves appreciation. JIMIN is a good looking, rich, talented, humble young man

The Jimin Effect is real.

The song talks about how he's setting himself free from a lot of past struggles and negative thoughts. Jimin was very hard on himself. He didn't come from a singing background, he started as a dancer, a contemporary dance student. So he put this very high standard to catch up with the other members. He criticized himself the most and members talked about how he used to always stay in the practice room almost 24/7, working harder than anyone else ever. He struggled with his body image too back then. He is a very affectionate person but back then he struggled with toxic masculinity, wanted to appear tough and everything. So this is him setting himself free. The end of the video where he appears with white outfit, is the Jimin now who has been reborn. The fake tattoo is a German poem, talking about similar topic as the one he wants to convey through the song. The song is called Set Me Free Pt. 2 because the other member, Suga has a song called Set Me Free in his mixtape as AgustD. Since the theme is similar, Jimin named it Set Me Free Pt.2

Kpop is not all bubbly omggg lol. It's an industry, with a wide variety of genres within it. I'm Korean and even as a high schooler I only listened to the badass groups. Never liked the "bubble" groups. BTS is so above even the entire industry. They're just crazy talented and hardworking artists who live and breathe music. 3 of the members live and breathe hip hop...like REAL hip hop, not that pop hip hop. They deserve all the respect, accolades and success they've earned, and yet they don't even claim that it's all theirs...and they never credit themselves first...they credit their fans. Def worth checking them out more...they have a wide discography. You guys are missing out on incredible music and amazing, humble, brilliant human beings. You two could learn a thing or two from them.

You guys are so whipped for Jimin. The guy on the right sat there with his mouth open half the time. You really need to listen to this without laughing and you might understand it better.

I think the spiral choreography and the lyrics goes well. He was singing about standing on the edge and not looking back which basically has to do with growth(as a person/artist) and the spiral basically looks like the Fibonacci sequence which represents growth in nature as well. I say with his background in dance, the whole mv was well put together.

Actually he sang/rapped about his feelings during Covid/Lockdown (it was worse in SK because they only got the vaccine very late in at first very small quantity). He freed himself at the end by working through those emotions. 💜

La verdad no sé de qué se rien , porque lo que están viendo es a un maravilloso artista talentoso y maravilloso nuestro bello hermoso JM, si de esa manera tienen este programa de burlarse de bts, y principalmente de nuestro JM, es lamentable la falta de ética y profesionalismo hacer críticas destructivas a nuestros artistas bts,hagan comentarios constructivos , y disculpen lo que les diré más bien parecen payasos y una cosa primero fíjense en su forma de ser, que no son nada agradables, y después critiquen a los demás . 💜🤟

I believe Jimin mentioned on another video that it was a German poem 🤷🏽‍♀️. I love their music!💜💜💜
