@DB Graves the bassists name is Jeff Adams. He's an incredible musician. You're right, I don't think Jimi was feeling well at this gig, but Jeff would normally sing these parts anyhow, I think the contrast between their voices is incredible...

JIMI HAD A RESPIRATORY THING GOING ON WHEN HE DID THIS CONCERT. YOU CAN SEE HIM COUGH AND SWALLOWING A LOT AND A BIT HOARSE. INSTEAD OF CANCELLING HE GOT BACK-UP FOR HIGHER RANGES AND SANG BEAUTIFULLY. SOMEONE ELSE WOULD HAVE CANCELLED. HE LOVED HIS FANS AND WAS A GREAT HUMAN BEING AS WELL AS THE BEST SINGER I EVER HEARD.

How can you tell he's high? He looks to me as though he had a cold or was just under the weather. You see him cough about midway through the song. No reason to jump to conclusions.

Calm down and don’t insult. His talents weren’t showcased as they should’ve been. Perhaps a management issue? I think Jimi is one of the best singers ever. Mutt Lange would’ve catapulted them into the stratosphere, like Def Leppard. RIP Jim. You’re missed; you’re revered.

They’re protecting him here on the higher ranges, which I think is cool. That’s a ridiculously hard song to sing (I’ve tried), and over time, it can just crush your vocals if you don’t temper it when doing sets night in and out.

He wasnt sick, Jimi sang the song just fine, they are all close memphis friends of his. Jeff Adams back up vocals. The song was sung in the way it was it had nothing to do with anyone being sick.

This is why I stopped coming to KZread to see JIMI. The comments by some people hurt too much. He probably was tired, he toured non stop and he was only Human. I wish people would keep their negative and hurtful comments to themselves and show him the RESPECT he deserves.
