It's great to see a reaction to a Jimi Hendrix song that is not the one of the same three songs everybody reacts to. We need to here much more of Jimi Hendrix because he's got a much bigger portfolio than most people realize.
Jimi. Nothing else needed. He was amazing
🎸I thought Jimi’s Strat was going to catch fire ! 🎸
This is the version from In The West. Awesome!

Specifically from the elusive Berkeley show 1. Same show he laid down the most epic hear my train a comin ( the electric church version from BLUES compilation album). The video of that one is on the DVD tho. Wish they'd release both shows entirely.

I think it's from "Jimi Plays Berkely" originally
GO GO!!! GO JIMI GO! Jimi B. Goode!!🎸🔥🔥🔥
I remember listening to this song for the first time in the summer of 1972 and it changed my life musically forever; it just blew my mind. I was 11 years old and asked my friend where I could see him. Found out he had died a year and a half before that day...
no words ,,,, awesome
The thing that amazes me is how far ahead of his time he was, sounds fresh even now, he was otherworldly! Cosmic jimi✌️☮️
And he made it look so easy..
John, I could write a book on Jimi !! I've been into Jimi since 1970, I was 12 years old, I AM NOW 65. I dont care what anybody says, when it comes to Jimi Im hardcore Man, SRV, Robin Trower , Frank Marino... yawl could not hold a candle to Jimi Hendrix talent wise, style coolness and or otherwise Axis Bold as Love!! The Man had it and no I dont need to 'turn Him into a God" , He was THAT good !! Jimi had more talent in the first digit of his little finger than all of the abouve and more ever will !! When Jimi played "he took you somewhere", I've seen Trower 3 times, good decent,Ok, didnt take me much of anywhere, Carlos Santana did, Frank Zappa did... Frank Marino stiff a board on stage, knock offs Man, git your shit together, that is your own thing. NOT copy and paste. Stevie Ray V. Used to dress up as Hendrix for Halloween. Big deal !! I wore headbands and cool hats when I was 16, Big deal ! Ha!! Stay Groovy Stay Free. Play on Jimi !!

Dig your comment man. Fan of Jimi since 1970 too! No one like him since. Like him before was Mozart, Beethoven, Bach, Strauss. From Australia 🇦🇺 ♥️ 🙏
Papa' Hendrix Eternamente
Baddest electric cat of them all and best version of this tune ever! Try Johnny Winter "Highway 61" album version. Slide guitar virtuoso..
Jimi!!!!
This is Johnny B Goode! Jimi would turn up to Olympic Studios in London with his guitar in a gunny sack.
I was 9 in ‘67 when I became experienced…thx to my mom. The album was an Xmas present by request. Still have it and never looked back. That was it for the Dave Clark 5 and the Beatles and ironically the Monkees, whom Jimi toured with shortly before the audience mismatch became apparent. Love this guy. Managed to get to Renton and pay homage to the guitarist that literally changed my life. Thx for everything, Hendrix. It’s a cryin’ shame you had to leave so early.
This was the Hendrix track that smacked me in the face when I was very young (mid 70's), exploring bands and just starting to play guitar. I knew who he was and had heard some but after hearing this I moved on from Beatles and Zeppelin and started buying anything I could find by Hendrix. Even though obviously a cover, still consider it the track that symbolizes everything about Hendrix.
Jimi was such a badass!
Peter Tosh included a unique take of "Johnny B. Goode" on his "Mama Africa" album. The title track is a good intro for those unfamiliar with Peter's yin to Bob Marley's yang.

Best version ever. The audio and visual is a bit out of sync in this video, but you get the idea...
Jimi is the best. No question. Pali Gap id an instrumental jazzy number you would like. Drivin South, Hear My Train a Comin are all awesome.
Dig how loose his picking hand is!
Hello you're nice Guy..with beautiful haïr..!! Hendrix ...? Thé bBest in the Sky of Rock⭐⭐🌟🔥
Hendrix makes you want to pick up the guitar immediately or never touch it again. :)
... в космос ...
Chuck Berry must have been ... what the .... HUH ??
That’ll make that hair stand straight up on your neck, and if it doesn’t it’s because you’re dead.

Yeah right 😂
The ATOMIC VERSION, of the real first rock song in history (normally, all the bands covering that, are playing with 2 guitarists😂 Jimi is playing the rythmic guitar and the lead guitar alone, and faster than anyone else😂it's unreal)....You said everything when you said: "when you see Jimi playing, you need to take your guitar to play!" Except, 5 minutes later, when you realize it's just a disgusting monster, and you will never play like him, you stop playing😂, and personaly, i don't touch the guitar anymore for 6 months😂😂😂😂Too disgusted! And then, i listen to Jimmy Page, or David Gilmour, and once again i'm disgusted😂😂😂😂😂😂Shit life.... Peace from France bro ✌️
