I really feel for the A&M players and fans b/c JIMBO cares about 5 things: 1) EGO 2) HIS MONEY 3) BEATING SABAN 4) INTERRUPTING REPORTERS B4 THEY CAN FINISH THEIR QUESTIONS 5) EGO

Jimbo doesn’t blame players. He takes the blame himself. Regardless, the product was unacceptable last year.

Aggie fan here. I was so excited with the Petrino hire, read his book, he is brilliant. The way Jimbo answered these questions raised huge red flags for me.

Jimbo is the narcissist, not Saban IMO. He projected his own attributes onto his target when Saban pissed him off with his comments about NIL.

I've been a frequent lurker of TexAgs for over 24 years, and they're always (and I do mean ALWAYS), on top of this sort of thing. I haven't heard squat about any Fisher-Petrino drama over there, so I'm gonna say this is a big ol' nothing-burger.

I would say jimbo is wrong

I can’t stand Dumbo, I mean Jimbo. He destroyed FSU, and is doing the same thing to Texas A&M. He blames everyone else, but himself. It must be nice for Texas A&M to be able to guarantee someone 90 million to coach a bunch of kids right out of high school. This should be a lesson for all universities. Go Noles and go Texas A&M. The Hell with Jimbo!

Not a Jimbo or AM fan, but I see the point he's making. It's more important to be good at what you do, rather than trying to outmaneuver other teams with nuance that is not performed at satisfactory. Petrino will get the discipline from his guys on the field, hes one of the best at that. Now, on the other hand, I'm sure Bobby is calling the plays, and I'm sure Jimbo isnt happy. Aggies best bet is to end up with Bobby in total control, whatever that looks like

@Steve Harper you have no idea buddy. Preaching to the choir. Outside of being a complete dirtbag, I like the way he keeps a lid on his teams. Now hes in a position where he doesnt really have to recruit much. If he can avert any ego dramas, and be a decent person, A&M can be deadly

If Dumbo Fisher obeys Petrino Tamu will win the national title. It will be a disaster if he doesn't.

I’m think it’ll be fine. Jimbo just has a sore ego. Win the first 4 games with the offense producing and it’ll be great. The biggest issue is the offensive line. My question is “Can Bobby call plays that help that unit out?” Addazio was a disaster last year. Having basically everyone hurt didn’t help, but changing the snapping technique had terrible results. They couldn’t zone for their lives. Pass pro was shaky all the time. And Jimbo couldn’t call a game that kept the defenses honest.

hire bobby for head coach and send jimbo fisher back to Virginia.

Looks to me like Petrino was brought in to have someone available to blame when things go down the toilet.

He's tired of the questions, so he blew them off. Don't make more than it is.

Definitely 100m mistake another 5 -7 season . Schedule is tougher and don't see them winning at Miami.

Lifetime Aggie fan here; at first I didn't like when he was hired, then he did pretty good, an I was kinda gettin onboard with him, then app state happened.. and now I think he has to win tenthis year or its time to stsrt s go fund me to fire him.. jimbo sounds like a used car salesman.

Watched KY for 40 years up the middle x 2, pass, punt. There are MANY different kinds of offenses and they should depend on what your kids’ best strengths are. What a nit wit The guy is
