Victor Posa is pitching his company, Rollergard which turns ice skates into rollerskates by applying a guard on the bottom of the ice skates that have wheels. He's seeking an investment of $200,000 for a 20% interest in his business. Jim Treliving's son Brad is a former ice hockey player and current General Manager of The Calgary Flames of the National Hockey League. After Jim calls Brad for his opinion, will he invest or not?

    Yeah he wasnt expecting a royalty to be in the final deal. Im guessing at the beginning that there would be too much competition and it would drive the valuation up.

    In the later years in Shark Tank, an overly high valuation never stopped Kevin from making an offer. I guess he learned from this.

    The Financial Post wrote that the deal didn't go through but I couldn't find the date this episode aired or anything else about this product/company other than they are still in business.
