A great night was had in Dillons Hotel on Friday 5th July, in honour of Jim Sheridan, organised by Letterkenny Community Heritage Group. I'd like to thank Bartley Ramsay, Patsy McGowan, Jamsie Nicholl, and Gerry Murray. It was nice to see the '74 team from Derry who played against Jim in the final all those years ago. Thanks to Colm McDaid for the poem, Evelyn and Thomas for the music, and Kevin Bradley from Highland Bakery for the refreshments. Thanks to Paul Deeney, Dillons Hotel, and Brian Walsh for M.C.ing. And special thanks to all the people who turned up and made it a special night for Jim.
