Whether you like Punk or not, he’s a guy that brings attention to whichever wrestling company he’s in whether it was AEW or currently when he came back to WWE. I’ve had ‘heat’ in places where I worked and with other people (I’m not a wrestler); it can be for a number of reasons, but in my case I just won’t do something merely because someone told me to. There has to be a good reason. I’ve annoyed co-workers, bosses and customers/students (I work at a university). From what I read/hear a *lot* of how American corporations work is by delegating the s**ttier tasks lower and lower down the ladder, with the expectation that those on the lower rungs will just obey orders. Punk doesn’t do that, and a *lot* of people get pissed off when someone like that is around. Integrity is very hard to have.

I don't understand what you mean by CM Punk "Acting like a jerk everywhere he goes." His infamous Pipe Bomb segment in WWE was scripted, as was his departure from the company. WWE even used CM Punk's displeasure with the company as an angle to make more money on merch sales. CM Punk had problems at AEW, sure, but so have half of their talent. AEW is so plagued with problems that even the other parties in CM Punk's departure aren't totally happy with the company. After CM Punk left, Jungleboy was suspended for 5 months and the Young Bucks were among the most hated heels in the company because they drove Punk out. Major players in WWE such as John Cena, Randy Orton, and Undertaker have all stated that they enjoyed working with CM Punk.

What do you mean ‘he refuses to do business’?!? He did nothing *but* business in his first WWE run; the whole reason he left was because he *was* willing to do what WWE wanted and they kept demanding more and more. He’s talked about his medical issues that the company refused to acknowledge, and he’s talked about how he saw the guys with genuine organic fan support get overlooked in favour of Vince’s favourites. He sent a message to wrestlers worldwide when he left WWE in 2014, and arguably because of what he did we now have AEW, as well as a TNA that finally knows what it’s doing and what it wants to be. Every day hundreds of thousands of employees in jobs all over America allow themselves to be walked over. Those who don’t are branded as ‘difficult’ when all they’re doing is standing up for themselves.

He left and the whole landscape shifted (Not sure if for the better) The guy had his name chanted for 7 years while he was anywhere but the wrestling business.

A "shoot" is just an out of character interview. It doesn't necessarily mean you're talking smack about someone.
