Breaking: Sir Jim Ratcliffe has made a late bid of more than £4BN to buy #Chelsea. He sent the bid to Raine this morning.
#Chelsea were understood to be close to making a final decision over the three previously shortlisted bidders before Jim Ratcliffe's 11th-hour offer.
Todd Boehly's bid for #Chelsea is still best-positioned to be the preferred bidder, but as of now, they have not entered into exclusive talks yet or been told they are the preferred bidder.
Breaking: Stephen Pagliuca's group have been told they will not be the preferred bidder for #Chelsea.
Sources: Sir Martin Broughton's group may be out of running for #Chelsea. But no confirmation yet from camp.
