    Is Jim Nantz in the Hall of Fame? If not why not? I remember Jim McKay telling the world about what was going on in Munich in 1972. I remember Cosell breaking the news of John Lennon's death before there was 24 hour news. Those two men did their profession well on those tragic nights, but while Jim never had to cover anything quite that dramatic, he covered so many dramatic events in the world of college basketball. He NEEDS to be in the Hall of Fame.

    I'm glad that he's leaving, since he knew and cared almost nothing about college hoops, which he seems to think starts in February. Now he will have more time to follow the moves of Aaron Rodgers or other NFL star quarterbacks. Perhaps CBS will find a Basketball Guy to replace Nantz ...

  • @bigdchi
    @bigdchi Жыл бұрын

    Nantz is terrible. Doesn't know much (other than golf) about the sports that he covers . Yes he knows a couple of the stars and their stories but never seemed to understand strategy or nuance. The NCAA Mens' basketball coverage took a huge step downward when CBS got the contract from NBC. NBC's coverage was so much better. So the positive of this year's final 4, no more Nantz!
