First time he's said something that didn't have the usual taint of his Grand Wizardness attached to it. He's right. Kovalev was a beaten fighter. Any supposed "low blows" did not cause him to quit. He reacted to a good body shot earlier in the fight as if it was low and got away with it. It ultimately cost him, just like Flores tried to play dead with Rigo. Don't lie in the ring, be straight up. Both got what they deserved.

2 NTR Word. He looked like he was ready to get out of there. Near the beginning of the round Kovalev turned his back to Ward and walked away. Then was another sequence where Ward folded him with two body shots, but looked confused as to whether or not he should follow up. Put that mean right hand into the equation, and it's clear to see Kovalev was already done.

Kovalev is weak to the body so he had to front it off like it was low. it worked the 1st time but Weeks saw through him the last 2. Now the last 3 blows I can't say because he was hunched over but it was still Kovalev fault. If u know what ur going up against then u should prepare accordingly. He didn't so he lost low blows or not. great fighters adjust. He couldn't so all he could do to try and save face was cry wolf

Bad referring for stoping the fight and not taking points away for the low blows and just dirty fighting from Ward. Ward couldn't get away from Kovalevs stiff jabs so he started low blowing to change the course of the fight.
