It'd be funnier to buy her the 4000 dollar chair that helps her get up, but everytime it's activated a recording plays " Up Gunta! Up!

My mother literally IS this f'd up (I don't know if Jim was just making up a story for laughs), and I was thinking the same thing: "If I was a comedian, this is PRECISELY how I would describe my upbringing".

Just saw Jim tonight. I hurt from laughter 😃

Mothers day in Australia is the same as US. Only difference is the time zones. Father's day is the one that is different in Aus to US.

We all need medicinal chocolate from time to time

His mother passed away recently. He talked about it in his Special "Intolerant" in 2020, so he was kinda right at 1:15

Considering how good American food is, I’ve always wondered why Americans put up with such dreadful chocolate.

It's because when Hershey 1st got started they screwed up the recipe and everyone in America thought it was how it was supposed to be and we're used to the taste now.

I've never liked Jim Jefferies and his crass and 'mean' style of comedy, but after watching this segment I can appreciate a bit better that he is playing a character.

He’s said before in a special that he’s just joking around and not to be taken too seriously. If you don’t find him funny, that’s fine, to each their own. I’d give his standup, his show “Legit”, and his podcast “I Don’t Know About That” a chance if you’re curious.

He reminds me of kids I knew growing up who had overwhelmingly toxic helicopter parents, and developed a nihilistic and sarcastic attitude about anything that people take seriously.

Jim likes pranks. He should have told Conan the story of when he tried to prank Avi Yemeni by defamation via a deceptively edited interview, but got pranked back by Avi with the truth. It was a real hoot. It was so funny Jim had to hide for years.

He's trying too hard to be funny.
