Freddie sure did create a beautiful and peaceful oasis for himself with Garden Lodge. So wonderful to see Freddie happy and content like this. This is how I choose to remember him -- at his best!

Beautiful memories that Freddie believed would be kept private but his "friends" betrayed him after his death. Other than Mary, he had no friends.

Idk how lovely it was at that point , with Freddie having AIDS and Jim being HIV positive, not a fan of Hutton at all , I thought the book he wrote was so intrusive, and all he talked about was the gifts and the money

Agree! Gifts, money and don’t forget the drinking. He was always drinking. I was shocked that he let Freddie gag on mango for a half hour. Luckily, Joe came home so he could dislodge the fruit. WTH was wrong with Hutton? Was he drunk? There are so many implausible situations and outright lies in that book. Hutton hadn’t counted on the backlash he got for writing that crap. He thought he was going to produce a TV movie from that book but Queen put the kibosh on using any music for the production so the movie idea tanked. No way Queen was allowing the music for that fabricated crap. Roger said Hutton did it for money. Hutton claimed he wasn’t with Freddie for the fame and fortune but he sure as hell bitched about Garden Lodge for years after Freddie’s death. He was angry at Freddie and Mary so he wrote that book because he was angry and felt entitled to more than Freddie thought he deserved. And then in 1996, he admitted he had fabricated so much to “big himself up.” But the damage had been done.

Jim created this beautiful garden and cared for it for his and Freddie's pleasure. They were happy together, thanks to Jim who always returned to Freddie whenever he got rid of him. Even though Freddie loved Jim very much he was quite impulsive. Thank God for Jim, Freddie was happy in his last 6 years.

That is jacuzzi and Freddie wanted to take a bath there as you see the room is huge , freestone filmed from the other part. And hutton helped Freddie as servant . You didn't see hutton interview. Even hutton recognized in 1996 that he lied , he wrote in his book only lies for making himself important. And he recognized all his lies and more important he recognized that Freddie stopped any relationship on the end of 1985 and Freddie tolerated him in Garden Lodge. He was a simply servant
