Because sex sells better than talent. Jim sounded a lot like Marty Robbins who also had a great voice.

I never tire of hearing his beautiful voice. Thanks for making it possible to hear him.

Jim was my classmate. He had the most clear high tenor voice. He composed such Great songs . Really miss him.

I listen to Jim Glaser in high school back in the 80s I didn't know he passed this music makes me think of this young lady I was crazy about back then named Cynthia Bishop

Great tune! This was played alot in mid 80,s out of Nashville radio stations. Nobody makes country music like this anymore.

I remember when this first came out and they played it at the clubs. Gosh, it was such a good song to dance to. Beautiful voice.

This guy has a great voice!!!

He was all around artist, perfect vocals, and composer, guitarist.

Jim should have scored a number 1 with Lights of Albuquerque as well..but his producers were getting out of the business & just weren't interested in promoting the song. Jim promoted it quite heavily..but he couldn't do it alone..and thus..it did not go to number 1. I think it went to 40..but with a little more push..I believe it could have topped out as Jim's 2nd number 1. Jim never got the recognition that he deserved..and it isn't fair.

Great song from Jim. I remember hearing this song when I was a teenager.

One of the truly great singers that never quite made the super star level but this song alone is as good any song ever made. Jim still has a voice of gold today

What a beautiful song. Jim could sing a song. Back when country music was worth listening to. Just because of artists like this. It's to bad that just when they had it right. They figured they better go a different route and screwed it all up. Hence the saying, "If it ain't broke don't go trying to fix it." It wasn't broke. It sure is now...

This guy has the most beautiful voice. All his songs should have gone to #1.I sure love him!!! Love these pictures too,. his smile shows in his eyes and all over his face.He sure was a handsome devil!!!

I have both of his albums. He autographed both of them. I play them a lot. Great songs. Yeah I even sing along.

I talked to Jim when I saw him in Nashville before he passed. He said that he was trying to get the record label to release Man in the mirror on CD. Said that he was not having any luck. Guess he died trying, What a shame

From KXDD (Yakima, WA) ....around early 1980 era.....Loved it and grew up with this song......Any one else notice that his surname spelling is different ??? Research "Mandela Effect"!
