Jim Glaser was one of the best singers ever!! And now..Jim belongs to the ages. RIP Jim Glaser. Much loved & sadly missed. :-( :-(
Glaser brother's are all legends and for the people who gave a thumbs down you just no nothing about true singing this group of brothers are were a true credit to classic country music
Jim Glaser is THE Gentleman of Country Music! His voice is like wine. It was excellent when young and just got better over time. A beautiful rendition of a great country song.
Their voices & playing still good to the end!!
I encounter people who don't even know who Jim Glaser is. I tell them, he is the best of the best. The whole world should know who Jim Glaser is, or they've never heard one of the best country singers....ever!!

I was a a big country fan in the 70s and 80s and knew of Tompall, but no really the brothers. I just never connect or was familiar with them. But last year I came across their melody of hits and was stunned. So sorry I missed all the previous years and probably a few chances to see the Live. Thank goodness for You Tube, I can watch the often. And I do.

Jim Glaser can certainly lay claim to being a part of that Marty Robbins super-hit! It is certainly obvious he has that "Glaser" voice. Glad I found clip. Thanks Jim

Yes..Marty copied the Glaser style on El Paso. Jim Glaser wrote & sang the harmony for El Paso. And..El Paso has the style of Jim Glaser written all over it. Jim Glaser didn't get enough credit for anything though. How many people know that Jim Glaser wrote "Woman, woman"..made famous by Gary Puckett and the Union Gap??
If only we still had more wonderful voices like Jim Glaser. He is the BEST

Just turned 18 on the 15th and this is one of my favorite songs
The heavenly Opry is getting so full singers I grew up listening too passing away so fast been country music fan since 13 first song was hello darlin by Conway Twitty now 66 country music is losing it heart and soul may all the singers we lost enjoy that stage for you are now with the biggest names in country music RIP
I'm glad to be able to hear Jim's singing. R.I.P.
I didn't expect to like any version as well as I like Marty Robbins' version of this song. I was WRONG! This is just a gorgeous cover of a beautiful song.
Jim Glaser and Joe Babcock, two fantastic talents from the legend that was Marty Robbins. Marty obviously had an eye (and ear!) for talent such s these two guys possessed.

I heard you sing , "Don't worry About me" and loved it too.Very nice!!
just love all of the glaser brothers and marty robbins
Beautiful! RIP Jim Glaser
Jim and Joe sang this song together for the first time in fifty or so years when they provided harmony for Ronny Robbins at my book release party for "Twentieth Century Drifter: The Life of Marty Robbins." The history of the Glasers in Marty's band can be found in the book.
Lucky to see him live with the Brothers and twice as an individual. What a singer, superb.
Jim had a wonderful voice. Now he's gone but his voice lives on.
one of my fav songs ..and this is a lovely version .
I clicked on this video not expecting much, boy was I wrong. These old guys still sound great.
The more I listen to Jim Glaser I realise how good a singer he was, I've always appreciated the Glaser Brothers and had the pleasure of seeing Tompall and having a conversation with him.

@@barbhoschouer8978 Keith Urban is VERY talented!!!!!!! I met Keith once & talked with him a good while about bluegrass music. It was sometime in 2000 or 2001. He was guesting at a Sonya Isaacs concert & I was there with Sonya's dad Joe. I had been helping Joe record a bluegrass gospel CD at the time. I held a conversation with Keith for at least 30 minutes & had no idea who he was. About 10 minutes later he was called up on stage & I felt like an idiot for not knowing who he was!!!!

A beautiful rendition of this song. Only I don't understand why those idiots in the audience have to ruin it by bursting into applause in the middle of it. Had Justin Bieber just walked in the room?
