This version of Jim Davidson I really liked. The family friendly host, the persona he used for Big Break too.

I've found Jim Davidson hosting Generation Game from the final years of the show very decent compared to the short-lived Mel and Sue series from 2018, which is more disastrous compared to Davidson's series.

@@pogman15 I've found most things started becoming really awful in the UK after 2012 or so... I'm sure it's pure coincidence of course 🙄

I'm glad that there's more episodes of Jim Davidson's Generation Game got found completely than rather watching the clips from the show. I bet they didn't have any fond memories growing up with the Jim Davidson's era that much and was thought it was a downgrade to Bruce Forsyth's (1971-1977, 1990-1994) or Larry Grayson's (1978-1982) series like how they responded for the later series of Noel's House Party which ended up getting downhill by the 5th series until the show ended for the 8th series in 1999 after ratings plummed down.

The announcer/voiceover sounds like he's American. No British accent I can find.

Reminds me of Jamie Oliver.
