The goof needs to hire a competent team and stay off tv. The young bucks need to pick either being a wrestler or EVP. They're embarrassing too. This 5 year old promotion cannot afford bad press. Whoever the Bookers are, they need to fix their roster. If they can't help difficult workers, Tony must release them. The company needs to focus on their own instead of WWE. Whatever they have against WWE, the WWE can easily fix their problems. AEW isn't known to the planet. They don't have a lineage of household names, family dynasties or legacies.

Toni Storm is normal. It's the rest of AEW that's backwards.

When she started the whole gimmick I thought she was doing a mentality deranged character because of the way she started out to seemingly like she wanted to show that she’s a fan of Marilyn Monroe and it could’ve worked

This was amazing and one of the better matches of the show. Also Timeless Toni is one of the best character work in years. U are just being a hater to be a hater. Just admit u hate Woman's wrestling even though its just as good as mens matches a lot of the times to me.

The first time Toni did "Watch for the SHOE..." To Renee Paquette it was hilarious and people loved it. She got such a great response and was undoubtedly over from then on. But now it kinda feels like her gimmick has run it's course.

I agree with Jim that people acting like she is normal doesn't do the character well. But I don't mind her having a stooge like Luther that basically obeys every single command she wants him too. It kind of makes sense that she would have an older bum looking dude who is getting paid by her to believe everything. If not him, then my 2nd option would be a male young wrestler who acts normal but Toni acts crazy and out there and when people ask the young guy why he's listening to her, it can be because he's getting paid, wants to nail her, etc

Disappointed JIm didn't watch. I was pessimistic going in since Rosa had been looking rusty as hell since her return, but this match was great. And she's seemingly the first babyface who actually gets cheered fighting Toni Storm.

She doesn't care anymore. She lost her motivation once everyone started crowing her the best women's talent in the world. That's when she started getting a reputation for sandbagging in matches and deliberately sabotaging other talent by no selling. And tbh, she's been gaining weight. From her Lucha Underground days to even her early AEW days, she was slim and cut. And she's not a good promo. Never has been.

Personally I love the Timeless gimmick. She’s been on a roll with it since day 1. What bothers me is AEW’s inferiority complex. I would argue she had the promo of the year last week, and then at the scrum it got flushed away with attacking the other side. They should just keep focusing on themselves.

Only clicked on this video to say that I care about AEW so little now that I can't even bring myself to listen to podcasts or these clips. It's become mostly a waste of time, and trust me, I have plenty of free time to be listening and watching things.

What do we mean 2nd womans championship match?

Toni holding that belt way too long with that gimmick. Rosa needed to win that and hold it for a few months till a heel was ready.

Gonna disagree hard on this one. Toni and this gimmick are fantastic.

i generally agree w/ most of the wrestling assessments made here but i can't believe yall dont like Toni Storm. especially considering how much ya'll cream over Rhea Ripley. i actually think she's a better promo than Rhea, her wrestling looks more physical and believable. here facial expressions and how she moves in the ring is at least on the same level as rhea. and she actually does, says entertaining shii. besides Rhea looking good and being "bad ass" she doesn't really DO anything. so i must assume ya'll just like her gimmick more and think it's more realistic than a throwback hollywood star.. but it's wrestling.. so wtf. now that i think about it, as much as i like Rhea, Toni is 10x more entertaining.

I would like to thank Tony Khan for once again providing us with content on this channel. Between taking a pile driver and wearing a neck brace at the draft he now thinks Aew is the Pepsi of pro wrestling and compared wwe to Harvey Weinstein. Poor thunder rosa i honestly forgot that she's even in AEW this timeless toni storm gimmick is great but hasn't it gone stale in recent months?

Toni is in a damned if you do damned if you don't situation. This is the best character she has ever played because in truth she has never had a character before, she was always just the blonde rockerish chick with the big butt and and big thighs and that was literally her gimmick. She is also pretty good in the ring, but she is not jamie hayter good, so its hard to say she should be a long term champion. As good as this character has been, it's essentially run it's course and it is now experiencing diminishing returns as even that people that enjoyed it or still enjoy it are pretty much over it. She can ride it for a few more months, but she has got to be thinking up the next evolution of her character. She is finally comfortable on the mic, so she should take that new found confidence and experience and start to craft it into something more serious or at least different. That said I don't have high hopes because she literally had 0 character before this, so this is not so much of a point of growth for her as it is more like catching lighting in a bottle. She found a weird gimmick and some how gelled with it enough to bring some zest to it and has clearly now gotten the most from it, but it is getting to such a parody level now that while it may be fine for feuding with mariah may when they eventually turn on one another, if she had to use this gimmick on a returning jamie hayter, it would just bring jamie hayter down unless they just had jamie no sell the gimmick and kick toni's teeth in like the bad ass that she is .

I'm with Brian here. Tired of the character. And the thing is the character could've been great. Should've been great especially since AEW has Dustin on their roster who could guide such a character (since he was gold dust who was a fantastic character). Instead we get this trash. And it's trash.

Either way it's a loss, because he's done nothing but take shots at Vince, only to copy his gimmicks..or he's trying to copy one of the greatest works in pro wrestling ever which will fail miserably... either way, he's lost his mind.

I miss Jamie Hayter. She should abandon ship and get back to NXT! Also, I used to be a Thunder Rosa fan but after all her backstage drama, joining Busted Open, trying to be a singer, selling content, she's not about the rasslin anymore. It's a shame.
