Honestly and if anyone doesn't believe this comment, take in how the Bucks put on their Twitter bio that they saw the documentary and didn't cry once over it. Like obviously not everyone would get too emotional over this episode but like I grew a new found respect for Pillman Jr from this. The man went through losing his parents, a shit childhood, and possibly even depression, and still made it. It's such a fucking good story this young man has and now he is trying to follow in his dad's footsteps and become a wrestler but one that doesn't follow the mistakes his father did. It's a personal story but the Bucks use it as a way to push that they are heels... Fucking desperate and inappropriate. So many ways to come over as heels but they gotta do the asshole and cheap way and just shit on this man reliving his past.

I love how jim can do great promos off the top of his head.

I was thinking the same thing. Brian Pillman should have either stayed with Court Bauer's Major League Wrestling or Billy Corgan's National Wrestling Alliance. Apparently there is no growth for him at All Elite Wrestling. It look like the Young Bucks is pulling the same politics in AEW like Hall & Nash pulled in WCW.

Yeah. I actually think "X-Pac" heat is misquoted as Hogan heat. Hogan got heat because he was pushed on image alone. X-Pac was and is extremely talented and ahead of his time. He was just slightly overpushed that's all.

Cornette's idea for a Garrison promo immediately makes me more interested in the feud.

By 9:30pm, I was struggling to stay awake. So I went to sleep right after Miro's promo. Didn't bother to see this match because I feel like if you've seen one Young Bucks match, then you've seen 'em all.

I bet Griff hearing Jim’s big criticism of him, is to get a hair cut, is celebrating. That’s basically praise from Jim.

Hearing Brian Last giggle as Cornette explains the Julia Hart cold spray spot is hilarious!

I've seen Griff at a few ROH shows and he has potential.

I wish he would change his ring gear. The speedo tights make his legs look even longer than they actually are, and makes him look like a job guy. If he would get some long tights, he would not look nearly as scrawny, and I could see him moving up the card. As far as his work goes, I think he is pretty good compared to a lot of the people in AEW, and has steadily improved since his debut. He could go a long way if he would toughen up his look just a little bit. He just needs a few minor tweaks.

That's likely because they missed all the heat generating details that made the Midnights great in the first place. It's a somehow sloppier version of when WWE tried to do the Goldberg push with Ryback

Jim’s promo was so good , it’s sad once you watched the actual one . There was so much chaos in this match, it’s like Indy matches on a national tv .😂. As long as their ok with it I guess . The ending on the match was really silly . It’s like watching the Saturday night special at the local high school gym😂. Jim and Brian are spot on .

The saddest part of all this is that The Bucks probably push and bully Tony Khan around because somebody like Cornette they could NEVER handle and he’d make em cry especially in his OVW days. They’d never make it a day in the real wrestling business.

I like Griff and love Brian. I really want something for these two, really, really!

The only Griff I remember is the crime fighting dog and the one from Married With Children. Bob Rooney! 😁

Its funny i was complaining to a friend about them pinning bryan during the three way qualifier tag. Now they give him a title shot and flatten him. Opportunity instantly wasted, burned and cemented over.

My Mrs watched it for the first time in ages with me and I told her that Brian would be the one who gets the loss, never Garrison. We already know the outcome before the event even starts. For a main event it's fuckin poor.

I'll admit I've seen aew about 10 times, and don't have much bad to say but doing what Eric bischoff did with bringing in wwe stars is the only real reason aew has the ratings they have. I don't believe twinkle toes, page and the bucks among others not many people know of could draw those ratings without the wwe guys.

When Kingston started stealing the sneakers, I lost my shit. That was entertaining.

That was the best part of the match. I was weak af! But if you think about it, the Bucks kinda had it coming. Flexing on everybody with those Diors.🤷‍♀️

Great promo at the beginning. So seamless.

Griff is pretty good. Still young but he has potential I think. He has also become somewhat popular as of late among the AEW fans. So there might be more of Griff in the ring to come.

Bandana higher on the forehead. Use the finishes to finish the match. Could you see the road warriors doing the finish 10 times? Somebody would have died. Dive off the top rope takes forever the guys are standing there waiting forever to catch them

@@TheSportsfan35 what I agree on is they are both garbage but it also seems like the wrestlers just have no idea how to make it look real anymore, pretty much watch 99% of matches from any company you can blatantly see the wrestlers actively working with each other and not making it look like they are working against each other anymore. Vince I think knows this and is just going with it and making money whilst he can but TK is a just a goof who wants to relive the attitude era like a child and doesn’t care. I just don’t understand how anyone can even watch or care about it anymore when it’s so fake and badly done. It’s really cringe and I wouldn’t be seen dead telling anyone I watched wrestling anymore which I don’t anyway, hell you wouldn’t tell people you liked wrestling back jn the 80’s and 90’s and that’s when it was still good.

@@TheMartinTD Actually the business back in the 70's & 80's was the reason why I loved the business, went into it & was able to have a 12 year career as a ref, & I don't regret going into the business at all. HOWEVER, I do find myself getting mad at the business as it currently is, & it's because from my viewpoint , both promoters seem like they don't give a shit as to what their talent rosters do as in Vince doing the Zombie bs last week & Vince booking himself & Shane-Shawn & God from $ mark Khan's standpoint, the majority of the lazy & illogical booking he does every week. I know people see my comments & hear Corny's comments & think we're 2 old guys who live in the past & might not understand the fact that Corny worked for, worked with & learned under alot of legends in the business, most of them are no longer around, & as for me, I was trained by Skandar Akbar & worked for Ak, as well as for Les Thatcher, Dory Funk Jr & Harley Race, & those guys taught me alot ESPECIALLY when it came to respecting the business & taking it seriously among other things, that CLEARLY & OBVIOUSLY the promoters & current talent today obviously haven't learned & it shows by the way the talent works & the way their being booked today. It's sad really & I agree with Corny whenever he goes off on rants about the shit they're doing because I guarantee you if Skandar Akbar & Harley was still alive, they'd be saying the same thing that Corny has, & if Dory & Les had a podcast like Corny, they'd more than likely say basically the same stuff that Corny has. The thing I'm noticing today is that the current fans of the business basically accept the way the business is & not demand better from the business.

I swear the young bucks are like the modern day tag team version of hulk Hogan but somehow even worse than Hogan

Julia Hart is a plus for the Varsity Blondes nevertheless the match was decent.

The Bucks have no idea how to put anyone over except themselves. They show no signs of being in trouble and no sell their Opponents offense.
