This shoe story is my favorite Cornette video on KZread. Bryan had no idea ab the can of worms he was opening with follow up question about shoes lol. Everything was so mundane but also ridiculous just like a Seinfeld episode. It reminds me of Kramer regaling the guys at a bar with a story about taking a pair of pants to the dry cleaners. So many quotable lines: "No I don't think so... Shoes in bulk?" "Slick soled dress shoes." "A shoe cobbler of some description!" "Boy this is a senttilating conversation on the drive thru today!" "You should not be wearing these." "Well these are the only shoes I've worn for 14 years!" "That's probably your problem!" "Was that too much detail?" "That was a lot of detail!"

If they would have purchased them when they were originally released, they would have paid about $2,000 a pair. They were very limited edition with only a little over 8,000 pair being made available for the public. That $10, 000 or higher price is what resellers are selling them for.

If the Cucamonga Kids were bright, they'd be saving as much of that money-mark's money as they possibly could. But they're not and this is why so many pro-wrestlers and athletes who made big money in their primes are flat broke when they retire. It's not about how much money you make, it's about how much you can figure out to save.

I can kind of relate to Jim. There's a shoe store by me and I bought an awesome pair of Nike Shoes for like $80 and i loved them. They lasted about a year but I have to wear them everyday at work, sometimes for multiple hours and I do a lot of walking. But I liked them and the next year, they had them on clearance so i got another pair. I believe it was last year I went and they still actually had a pair of them in a size too small for me. So I tried on the new shoes I could in the store and all of them sucked. I couldn't find a good pair that I want to wear knowing I could be on my feet for hours. So I went to the clearance pair and took a picture of some numbers and sure enough, I found the pair in my size on the internet and bought a pair lol
