Like Rey Mysterio could beat Taker so I guess Gargano can but idk if I would have that happen. Wouldn't be good from a booking standpoint. Maybe if Gargano was a cowardly heel and got someone to interfere and screw Lashley. As a face I'd probably have Gargano take Lashley to a good match but end up losing. Like I'd have him in a David and Goliath type situation and get some good moves in but end ip coming short. I'd only have Gargano beat Lashley if Gargano is a chicken shit heel that cheats to beat Lashley or if Gargano got a surprise roll up win but that's it. I wouldn't have Gargano beat Lashley in an evenly fought match. Either a David and Goliath type deal or as a heel that gets help from the outside. Definitely wouldn't have Gargano beat Lesnar or Orton. They're way too big when it comes to starpower. Gargano is someone I can see as a great US Champ. Like 2005 - 2007 Chris Benoit level where he's the workhorse mid carder that helps get the younger kids over while also staying relevant.

Johnny Gargano is the one guy I disagree with Cornette on. He is like an Italian Daniel Bryan. That little underdog, Rocky type. He does not have great extroverted charisma but he has a quiet charisma.

Daniel Bryan is not great. I don't know what happened to this generation but Bryan is a 5'8 piece of crap who seems like he is giving a massage to people. It really is perfect. Without even directly saying it, corny alluded to edges roots playing a factor. Edge would speak from the heart to the young knucklehead in promos and elevate him in the ring. Love him or hate him, Theory is important, and even he may not yet understand the weight they're gonna put on his shoulders in the coming years.

I think that Jim just doesn't like Johnny Gargano. Gargano must not be Jim's cup of tea. Thats cool and all, but I totally DISAGREE WITH Jim on this. Gargano is certainly not expressionless. He certainly has personality and he's reliable. He knows how to carry a story. And got a genuine reaction when he arrived on Raw. Sounds a lot like VKM, extremely bias when it comes to wrestlers with their physical appearance for example. Not every wrestle needs to look like a fucking oiled up body builder. I mean come on...

I think both wrestlers are better and worse in some things. For me, I never was heavily invested or analyzed the in-ring psychology of Johnny Nitro than Gargano but Nitro is better in his appearance, probably personality and promo. I definitely understand the mystery of how Gargano is popular than he is but all I say is he’s a triple h guy, he wanted him back, got him back and he’s happy. Can’t really criticize the signing if he is already trusted. It’s all about bringing the right characters not just as characters in wrestlers but as a person and their personalities to WWE

One thing I absolutely love besides Uncle Corny 's commentary is the awesome thumbnail artwork! 👍😍👍

I liked the promo. I like that Theory and Gargano are going to be feuding. but they did the breakup angle too soon. Theory and Johnny Gargano should've established for weeks and weeks. the friendship between them in nxt. Johnny even brings up, they got closer while he was gone. Johnny talks about how Theory was the one every day, calling to ask how his child was, ask if he needed anything, ask if his wife needed anything. then after that has been established Theory turns on Johnny.

@@coleymissions I speak from experience lol. I’m 5’8-5’9 and I just had to tweak my diet and lift a few weights with calisthenics and I look similar. I have a friend who is 6’5 and he could easily toss me with one hand. It’s really asking the audience to *really* suspend disbelief.

I'm actually happy that Johnny Gargano Returned to WWE now especially with Triple H in-charge of Creative Johnny is Safe his Matches with Tommaso Ciampa and Adam Cole during the NXT Black and Gold Era were awesome let's see what happens Next glad he has his NXT theme.

Nah you wrong about Johnny. Johnny is full of charisma. One of the best at garnering sympathy to the point where Ciampa became a pariah for turning on him, during a period where getting real heel heat is near impossible, and he has a great sense of humor and can also be serious and dramatic. He has the same charisma that Bryan or Zayn have in that people are drawn to support him. Also, why did Siri replace Brian Last?

1 possible reason for overhyped return , is because lots of people thought he was aew bound

Johnny Gargano is gonna be great for RAW. There's some guys on the roster he can have a good match with. Idk what's out there for him as far as storylines go but he's hell of a worker and he's entertaining as hell.

Actually I do like him, and I neither have, never have ever had, and am not at all likely to every have a Twitter account, and I've been watching WWE since 85. I love Cornette, been watching him since Louisville, but we don't agree on everything, Johnny is one of them.

@@peytonlong5573 he definitely could be US or tag team champion and have solid matches.(I'd argue for him being 205 champ tho) Thing is fans for some reason need to feel validation in underdogs being main eventers. If organically Gargano just became huge NORMAL fan favorite then ok. Otherwise you have people like Riddle, Cody, and even a Montez Ford you could be building up.

Jim's co host sounds like the guy in Private Parts that came in to replace Robin after she got fired.

Always loved watching Johnny wrestling in NXT. Many match of the year candidates.

Jim Cornett is always going to be an old-school individual, I watched him when I was growing up in the 80s, grew up in the territories where he worked, so I know how he thinks. Can’t change someone with that mindset, that’s just how it is.

@@hyperfall Same way Bryan was and that was wrong too. Plus did yes yes like a moron. When I first saw the Miz win the world championship I was appalled because his physique isn't that good and he doesn't have the look but holy crap they made Bryan champ.

Johnny looked completely out of place on RAW, as if the concession stand guy got to cut a promo in the middle of the ring for no reason. I'd like a hot dog

He's ALREADY made things better. And his NXT was 10x better than both Raw and Smackdown. That doesn't mean he's perfect and will not make mistakes.

@@natebaxter9551 This. IWC seem incapable of accepting others exist but them. NXT was solid for what it was but it's not main roster, it was Indy/developmental program under WWE. Of course Johnny Gargano and Ciampa will be champion and look good on a roster without Roman, Drew, Bobby, Riddle, Seth, AJ, Orton, KO, Lesnar, etc.
