@@walnutcove8583 It's probably an upscale. This is from 1997 and TV back then was still CRT and the max you could get was generally less than broadcast standard (720 X 480; hi-def was NOT a thing in the US although that they had hi-def broadcasts elsewhere). Hi-def wasn't the standard until the government mandated it. There are tells that this wasn't originally HD; the shadows and the way they skin looks TOO SMOOTH at times are clear indications of upscale. Upscaled live-action from tape generally doesn't look that good...

I clicked to hear the Joe Pesci impression, and they suprise us with a bonus Goat Story origins, right on!
The irony is that the very next week after this interview, Pesci and De Niro showed up live on "the Joe Pesci Show" SNL skit. It's one of the greatest SNL skits of all time.
Met this wonderful guy in Las Vegas airport waiting for a flight in 2008...so many celebs disappoint and are rude, he was extremely appreciative and gracious and I was so stoked that he was so hilarious in person. He really looks stoned lol that part was so funny to see about him.

Jim was a regular on SNL for years. Goat Boy was his big character, not one that translates to movies, so he never got a character movie off SNL. Starred in the weed movie Half-Baked w Dave Chappelle in the late 90s.
The best impression of joe pesci... Awesome! And I will always love conan shows from way back when to now

Jim Breuer was sadly known as a 2 trick pony. His pesci is the best in the business. But pesci has been retired as an actor for years and did Irishman and that's it. His goat boy is funny too, or his drunk guy/stoned character. But that's it. If you actually follow his early stand up career he's very funny. He got popular by having a guest spot with Dave chappelle on the show home improvement with Tim Allen. So much so that ppl would write to the networks they wanted to see more of these guys. We now know they cut Jim from the show and it was a failed show called "buddies" with a 19-20 year old Dave chappelle.
Jim is a legend. AC/DC Hokey Pokey!
When this aired i was 2 years old. I could have understood the goat boy perfectly back then.
He has so much natural talent that he can effortlessly be hilarious.
Visiting cousins in Mass some 20 years ago and they say "weah takin' you to see Brewah in Bohstun" One of the best nights of my life, he was great.
His Brian Johnson AC⚡DC impression doing the Hokey Pokey is Spot on!
probably one of Jim's best interviews, good stuff
