Looking back at the title of the song and what I felt at the time, I am so grateful to be alive. When I heard it for the 1st time 3 years ago, I was at my worst if not holding on to a fine thread of hope to keep on going, to keep on living all together. I struggled to find hope in the darkness I was in, battling depression, my porn addiction and confusion about my sexual orientation. I truly questioned the worth for my own existence. After getting a notification of a past comment a made on this video the other day, I can actually rejoice remembering those times and tell my old self that yes, there is always a way out, as long as a breathed there was always a way out. I could never be grateful enough to Jesus for taking out of there, I'm finally free of all my past addictions, depression and my own identity. Jesus loves us and his will is for every single one of us to come to the knowledge of who he truly is. Not a religion, not a ritual nor a routine but a person you can talk to. Someone with whom you can be honest about your pain, your regrets, you questions, your doubts. Know that you are loved and if you ever take that step to approach him, to ask him even just asking him if he is real, I promise you he will not let go. He loves you and you are not alone. Stay strong, it will always get better.

Thanks for sharing a bit of your story. Today I felt like killing myself over my pornography addiction. I will seek freedom from my addiction, depression, and become who I really am. I will take another look at Christianity as a way to find peace. Thanks again.

He came to set the captives free, dare believe that freedom have been acquired through the blood of Jesus ! It is a process but I assure you, you will be able to look back and rejoice. You can talk to him whenever wherever, because he is with you always and faithful to the end. Stay blessed, stay strong and all the love for what's to come ❤️ I'm so happy !!

The problem I have with similar comments is the need to put Jesus can help you pray away the gay. Jesus is LGBT for life.
