I saw Jill in Atlanta leaving a hotel and just politely said I love your music! No pics no autographs because I know how I would react to the constant request. She was so sweet and calm and told me in return that I had beautiful skin. LOL

Why is Jill’s voice so soothing?

Jill is such a great story teller.

No diva energy from Jill. Humble beautiful energy.

I loved her in the show The Number One Ladies Detective Agency. I wish it would have continued.

I attend a Jill Scott listening party that was hosted at the Apple Store for The Light of the Sun ☀️….I was so darn starstruck to ask for a picture but she sweetly smiled at me and gave me her autograph ☺️. Her smile and aura lights up an entire room! I am such a fan.

Jill's always had such a soothing voice... Like a spa for your ears. ✨🧖🏾‍♀️✨ Her talking about fleeing from those fans in Macy's made me think of that 80s song by Flock of Seagulls - Couldn't Get Away. LOL!!! *singing*... And I ra-a-aan. I ran so far a-way-ay-ay. Yes, I ra-a-an. I ran all night and da-a-ay. 😆😆😆 I couldn't help it. It just immediately popped into my head. Lmao!

I love Jill Scott. Now more than ever. As an introvert, I can relate to the The story about hiding in Macy’s. And I just drove by a Kmart that closed recently down and it it makes me sad that now I can’t shop there wearing my mask and drinking my coffee. She made it sound like a great self care day.
