I have a theory about why Jungkook and Jimin had the rain fight which may have been very important and I believe it was a huge turning point in their relationship. I have always been a fan of Jikook even from their early days, so the second Jimin said "this happened 4-5 years ago" a lot of things started to fall into place. First off, any army or supporters of Jikook would know that back then (2015-2016) Jimin was noticeably distancing himself from Jungkook, which was a big contrast to the way he used to be with him (constantly expressing his liking for Jungkook despite there being camaras) so just imagine how much affection he was showing when there wasn't any cameras or people crowding them. Unfortunately, in many clips from the past Jungkook denies Jimin's love and affection for him, and sometimes even harshly (this could be why many other ships think Jungkook hates Jimin despite him being like this many years ago.) Jimin may have been keeping all of that frustration at Jungkook all bottled up and at the practice studio he called him out, not being able to handle it anymore (he must of been veryyy angry to have snapped at a crying Jungkook, the person he would rarely lash out at.) Jimin telling Jungkook "just do whatever you want" could be his response to Jungkook's excuses on why he acted that way with Jimin. Jungkook was probably unaware at the time of what exactly his denial was doing to Jimin, which may have been the reason why he was so sorry to the point where he was sobbing. The topic was to say something you are sorry about to the person next to you, and Jungkook could have said anything but he brings up a fight that happened nearly 5 years ago. Even before I watched this festa, I have always wondered, what happened to Jimin and Jungkook? What changed? Why was Jungkook suddenly so comfortable and loving to Jimin as opposed to how he was in the past? Like I said before this fight was the turning point in their relationship and it also helped Jungkook better realize his true feelings for Jimin, which was probably why Jimin stepped in and explained the story for Jungkook because he knew he would say too much. By the way, I find it interesting that neither Jungkook nor Jimin explained to the others why the fight happened in the first place, this just shows to prove they were in a private setting where none of the other members were around, (the others had no idea what Jimin was talking about when he was saying the story, and you can tell from their reactions) and this is something that they don't want to completly share to the world because it would reveal too much of their relationship and the reason was very private and intimate which was something only Jimin and Jungkook should know about. I hope this theory makes sense to everyone who is reading this and that my words don't sound delusional, please let me know if you agree with this :) EDIT (after reading the comments): So according to Korean fans, Jimin actually said "I won't care for you anymore so do whatever you want," Instead of only 'do whatever you want'. The 'anymore' really stood out to me and when you tie it with my theory it's like he is saying: I've been showing all of this love and care to you, only for you to ignore/reject me back, so I am no longer gonna care for you anymore. And also apparently Yoongi really said "you weren't even a couple then" which is so telling and its definetly possible the fight pushed them forward in a romantic direction.

I agree so much! Also he didn’t say do whatever u want, he said I won’t care abt u anymore so do whatever u want, and that for me makes more sense bc he wasn’t getting attention and love from Jungkook and he was expressing a lot that he liked him so he must have felt like he was not getting anything back and snapped, and maybe Jungkook was confused abt how he felt abt Jimin, like he said one time that he was usually cold and shy to Jimin on camera but he liked him or smh like that I don’t remember lol. I mean this needs to be a kdrama with all the theories and stuff lol (sorry for my english I’m not very good)

This just solved the puzzled I had in mind for 90% of it but I would love to know the reason.i know it won’t be confirmed but you just saying. However, I agree with this because I always question jk changed behavior towards jimin like out of the blue his all hugging and touching and stuff when he would ignore and push jimin. Before.

When jk said "jimin... Love you" I was like really jk in front of all those people and army be like pretend they didn't hear anything

Here is my thing. Why did everyone panic? Why did RM look like he was about to stroke out when JK said that? Suga told Jimin he loved him. Everyone laughed. Tae said Jimin told him that. Tae told Jimin he loved him in his letter. No one panics or makes a big deal, but when JK does it, all of a sudden everyone panics. What makes Jikook saying to each other, different? Maybe because they know they are a couple and dating, so when they say it to each other, it has a different meaning, then brotherly love.

I think what jk trying to do was translating jm words : jimin love(s) you (to army) but he missed the "s" part. And I saw from his lips move, he's apologized to rm after that, he didn't mean to say jimin I love you. Ofc this is just my opinion.

JK is very observant when it comes to JM and it shows. That is the way of love.

black & white couple songs can have multiple meanings. Idk why people argue so much over this. Remember magic shop is also for “ARMY” remember? And we all know the story there. Still with you is just too romantic of a song to JUST be for ARMY, and that’s the tea. And you’re right about JK bringing it up right after the release of the song, a fight that happened 4-5 years ago. He wants us to know and has for years. Idc to argue with people about what their songs meanings are or who they’re about because it’s too exhausting. But that is my well thought out accurate opinion lol. Love your vids btw

I'm very surprised that the rest of BTS were not even aware of their fight from so long ago; but all of them knew about the dumpling fight between JM & V. They were supposed (still) to resolve any fight between any other member with all members as per PD Bang's advice - so it seemed that the fight must had been very personal that they didn't even want the rest to know.

I can not stop thinking about these 2 things about their fighting : 1) if Jungkook did not know, where he was, doesn't it mean that he tried to find/run for Jimin and lost himself? 2) shooting of Festa was in April, song "Still with you" can be wrote also in April/May. And we know how important to them era "I need you". Hmmm..

According to OG Jikookers, their dynamic changed around 2015/16 which is when JK started to reciprocate Jimin's love shamelessly. They say that's when Jikook started really dating. Now going by the real subtitles of the rainy day story it sounds like they fought because Jimin was tired of giving and not getting. Like he was ready to stop doting on Jungkook romantically. But when JK saw that, he panicked and decided he would start acting more on his feelings which he already had but had been scared of showing. Y'all 🤯 if Jikook isn't real we need to reevaluate our lives. 👀
