As someone who studies oculesics (body language subcategory having to do with the eyes) and kinesics (body language subcategory having to do with body movements and gestures) I entirely believe that there is something going on between these two behind the scenes. The way Jungkook is looking at Jimin in these clips along with how close they are sitting next to each other is definitely questionable. Also I have to include the direct eye contact, Jungkook hardly ever breaks his gaze from Jimin's. There are also some different camera angels where we see that they are being quite touchy (Jungkook rubbing Jimin's thigh and Jimin resting his arm on Jungkook's thigh). This could be a sign of nervousness or being flustered. Either way, I mainly focus on the body language of couples or people who are in love and there have been many of those scenarios that look very similar to this one.

"Could" their actions, body language, eye contact be fan service as so many are claiming? Also could you give your trained opinion on those around them please? It all feels very intense to me and I wonder why in this precise setting, they would choose to act up for the fans.....

@@iknow7046 I can see your point of view. It's not in my place to force a ship onto anyone, but from my experience, I can tell when something is genuine to if its fanservice. Of course, I could be wrong that there is something more, but I am in no way wrong that they deeply care for each other; it doesn't necessarily have to be the romantic type of caring. I'm using examples from my experience in my explanation to say that there _could_ be something more, but again, I could totally be wrong.

There's fan service and then there's this and for me it is too much to be something they're playing out for the 📷 📷, but as you say we could be wrong. I feel that the reaction of the idol on the other side of JK is very telling.

@@iknow7046 I agree, and fanservice during an event like an award show is very peculiar (usually there's the most fanservice during fansigns or their own concerts) so that's one of the reasons why I don't believe it's fanservice.
