They do not play that often now, once a year if we are lucky... They played in the town I was born (Tandil), my home is like 2 miles away from where they were playing, beautiful night. I was in my backyard listening to the music and you could also hear the crowd, SPECIALLY during jijiji... unbelievable. Loved your reactions guys! wish you the best.

The concert you reacted at is one of the Indio´s "smallest". 80.000 people. His last concert had a 500.000 people crowd. It was in Olavarría, Argentina in 2017 (many people, literally, got back home weeks after this concert). You´ve just known one of the biggest masses phenomenon. Indio is almost a religion. He was the lead singer of a mitical argentine rock band in the 80s called Patricio Rey y sus Redonditos de Ricota (Patricio Rey & his Ricotta Rounds), better known as "Los Redondos" (The Rounds). Then, when that band separates, he launched his solo career with a new band called Indio Solari y los Fundamentalistas del Aire Acondicionado (Indio Solari & The Air Conditioned Fundamentalists). His lyrics talk about love, death, sex, psichodelic drugs, political issues, religion, underworlds, loosers, outlaws, sordid characters... all using poetic and closed metaphors, very hard to understand a first (or second) hearing, but undoubtedly beautiful. This song in particular (JiJiJi) is from his old band (Los Redondos). The tittle is just the sound of a malicious laugh, and talks about the paranoia and vivid nightmares caused by cocaine and other drugs, and the dangerous use by youngsters becoming them in "Little Bombs". He´s like a holy man figure. He´s 71 years old and has a Parkinson condition. He´s been physically away from stages since 2017 (but still making studio records), dued to his condition, but his band still plays and he does holographic appearances on stage (yes! holographic!) singing live from his studio a couple of songs with the band playing on stage. Amazing ! Indio is often compared with Roger Waters from Pink Floyd and cursed poets of the 60s. Along side Soda Stereo (another mitical rock band from Argentina) they are the biggest spanish rock bands ever. Hope you can react at more Indio´s songs. We returned the favor by sending them a bag full of Mississippi Bluesman Sunglasses from our home base in Jackson, MS. I even heard a song or two of theirs on a college rock station in town. Indio Solari is one of the biggest Argentinian artists. He has a crazy amount of followers (as you can see lol) and his concerts are always this crowded. In the middle of the song when he stops singing he says "se viene el pogo más grande del mundo" which means that the biggest moshpit in the world its about to begin, that's why everyone's going crazy, well that and because here in Argentina we are very passionate about music! Hi guys bear in mind that this is the last song in the concert. The crowd has been about 2hours jumping up and down like this. Indio's fans don't call this a concert but a mass. They really love this guy. Many of them have travelled 1000 km or more just to be in their mass. After the show, they climb a bus and go home. That's what love mean for an Argentinean fan.

The one who sings is called Carlos Alberto Solari (71 years old) known as Indio Solari, he is an Argentine musician, founding member of the group Patricio Rey y sus Redonditos de Ricota, also called Los Redonditos de Ricota or simply Los Redondos.
