This is one of the most fun concepts I could imagine for YUQI, so well done through and through!

Today I'm reacting to (G)I-DLE YUQI's 'FREAK' music video and give my honest thoughts and first impressions on the song.
No question, this is conceptually awesome. Super fun to watch, great visuals with the outfits and set designs and just a comedic approach to horror movies - which is always fun. I was always a fan of stuff like the 'Scary Movie' series.
The song itself needed some time to grow on me and now, as my future self that has listened to the whole album and the title track multiple times, I can confidently say it did grow on me! Definitely a worthy title track and I still stand by my opinion that this has good chances on TikTok and just in general to appeal to the zoomer generation. Hopefully enough so, that they'll check out her other music and b-sides of this album - because my lord, is it a nice album!

You're probably too young to recognize 'E.T.' reference @ 6:25 ? 🙂🙂 It's, i think, the only non-horror movie referenced in this M/V. And the too girls are from 'shining', an old (1980) classic horror movie with Jack Nicholson.
