How did you get such a clear livescope image at 40ish feet deep? Can you share gain, TVG and other settings? Your picture was much clearer than what I have been seeing.

Adjust adjust adjust. Every lake is different. And from day to day on the *same* lake too. My starting point is: Noise Reject = High TVG = OFF Color Gain = 85 Then fine tune Gain each day Zoom in horizontal distance. Bottom Fill = ON for walleye.

@@erics667 thanks for sharing your settings. You turn noise reduction to HIGH? Do you find you lose the fish though? On Jay's, it definitely seemed like he was running noise reduction on HIGH. My picture is never that clear, but I never run noise reduction above LOW.

I have a question about the lake trouts air blatters is it safe to bring them up so fast I saw other vids where the stop at 20 feet and wait for air bubbles before bringing them up all the way I am not criticizing just curious

I've watched a few of your lake trout videos. Never fished them before, looks fun. My question is, how hard is it to catch them without electronics?

Keep it up Jay! I was aching for a lake trout jigging with live scope! Could you do some videos your type of knots and how you do them? (Ex: braided to fluoro, drop shot, regular knot… etc) PS: 2021 goal: 100k sub you can do it! 👊

We went on a charter and we trolled for lake trout my brother bought a hat for my dad for Father’s Day and because of that he decided he would get first fish I didn’t agree but it happened and that was the only fish we caught I was mad because I was the one that wanted to go because we live somewhere where there isn’t lake trout

Thanks for watching! I’ve just never loved salmon/trout. Not saying I haven’t had good lake trout shore lunches, I would just way rather eat pike or walleye over lakers. Trout meat is very soft.
