The polite nodding Jensen and Misha do while Bob speaks. I just can't.

Jensen's so embarrassed at 4:20 haha, he's like 'You couldn't act cool in front of Bob for ONE panel, Misha!' hahaha

My pleasure! Glad you're enjoying the panel. We felt priviledged to have him join some panels, I agree, he should do more of these!

Bob Singer is Supernatural's greatest fan. Just listen to him talk :) It's not that he doesn't need to do homework when directing, the story is so ingrained in him, he doesn't need to. It's like how a master chef doesn't need to crack open a recipe book every time he cooks.

Near the end i got the feeling of Castiel sitting with his father/maker. I felt like bob was a father talking about his son. It was very weird anyone else get that feeling

Hearing the writers talk always makes me kinda sad because I realize that some of the things I want most to happen will probably never come true...

I am looking at Supernatural for the comedy they bring into the stories. Jensens, Mishas, Mark among others timing when doing comedy cracks me up, must say Jensen is really a good comedian. 1. Why not a movie about the Rat Pack with these guys (Dean Martin played by Jensen) 2. Bond comedy (As well as Bond ;) Jensen could pull it off, don't you think? 3. Romantic comedy, but with more comedy (Cary Grant style) Good looking people might just have to fight harder for certain roles, so glad in 2016 he is being recognized for more then just a pretty face. More serious roles have worked well for Jonny Depp, Keanu Reeves, Chris Harmsworth among others and many times was not the first choice but resulted into the best ones. What I am trying to say is when the people in charge of casting try a different approach and go out of their comfort zone, example (House, Hugh Laurie) It worked well and became a success. Just saying.

Honestly I'm just sitting here shaking my head because I think Bob's wrong. Especially about the John question. I don't think it's as clear cut as saying John would have sacrificed himself for Dean - I mean, yes, he would have, and he *did* when he died, but in order to save Dean from the mark of Cain he would have had to sacrifice not only himself, but other people too. Plus, the mark made Dean murder other people, which I think would have made John kill him. Let's not forget that some of John's last words were for Dean to kill Sam if he couldn't save him. That more than anything I think tells us that it's entirely possible, plausible even, that John would have killed Dean rather than risk using ancient, dark magic to save him. It's kind of sad to see the writers/producers to talk about the characters like this, because I think we as fans know them so much better.

I agree, I think John would have tried to save Dean but after a while I think John would've gotten someone to kill Dean. I don't think he would have been able to do it himself, but I do believe he would've tried to have Dean killed if it meant saving people.

The writers are actually creating the characters each episode, how they view them is pretty much how they are or would have been. Just saying, arguing with the writers is kind of like arguing with the Dungeon Master in a D&D game, no matter what your proof is they make the rules. :P
