12:55. Another "weakness" of Jiang, if you could even call it that is espers like Pritzker and Bonnie can increase the cooldown on his passive, which would result in him dying before entering demon mode

Ya pritzker is a beast use him counter annoying runniest in purg that that aoe you when they die put the passive on cd no effect

Another little counter to Jiang is making sure he is debuffed before entering demon mode and having a Loki in the team, Loki's passive removes his standoff and damages him enough for an instakill because he cleanses himself...

Hyde can also instakill him once he enters demon mode because Hyde’s basic steals one buff per hit (2 hits). So 1st hit steals the standoff then the 2nd hit kills him. Learned it the hard way with tt40 Hyde.

This was so cool to see! As of right now he's my favorite esper (I don't have him though) because I absolutely LOVE the whole "Berserker" concept in video games. That fat 3* esper can also counter him with the dumpling skill. He'll still absorb ally damage while he's banished and if he takes fatal dmg was banished he can't enter demon mode so he just dies.

7:26 The reason why JJ doesn't receive shared damage because of Chloe's S2&S3 are still considered as AoE dmg, even if all those hits only lands on one target

If you buff block him before sending him to demon form he becomes a demon without stand-off so he dies instantly. Edit: DEBUNKED. Buff block doesn’t work that way.

Yeah, I’d like to apologize about the misinformation I spread. I reviewed my clips several times and I noticed that JJ becomes demon with stand off, BUT loses it to my triki’s passive and not Buff Block! Have a nice day y’all!

Ahmed works well with him in a way. He gives supporting song to him allowing him to stack more attack than usual and once he pops his berserk mode I can pop S3 to reduce the cd on his passive. I might try a hp% + atk% on of the relics instead of 2x atk% and see how that works for him

Considering getting so much speed. I guess an insanely rolled ocean waves could do wonders with his passive.

Gr8 showcase. Hes a beast!!!

Counters I experienced so far: Ollie (only his passive and the flow of the game, but his invincibility is easily stripped and killed in demon mode), Loki (Passive Gambit), Anesidora (dispelled standoff and killed him LOL), Jiang Man (i remembered she did something epic), Pritzker (CD down), Bonnie (CD down), Hyde (if built enough in the right conditions and he counters), Chloe (Steals his mojo) I got Jiang Jiuli! got really lucky and immediately was able to head up from T13 to T15 (i am there rather comfortably right now through attacking, def..... yes he's counter-able as AI is slightly dumb unless your RNG is shining bright like a diamond) I didn't have an Ollie and I was having trouble with survivability and insurance in my team so having him was a big plus. He can still ICU sometimes but in general very reliable. He ICU when his Demon mode is RNG based single attack... if there's only 2 enemies/3 enemies left it's less of a risk but if your JJL had triggered his Demon mode already at the start and the first hit goes into the wrong enemy esper, he won't last long xD he gones if the situation is right for the enemy Not invincible, definitely met many troublesome situations and he dies straight away LOL but that's the way it is. I have to say he's realllly, really awesomely good and an incredible asset to your team. And I am VERY lucky to have him. I love my demon berserker My Jiang jiuli: No spd, 330% crit dmg, 80% crit +2.6k att Hammer of Thor + Avatara

Of all your counters I shall correct just one which is triki. He is apparently "fixed" so his passive doesn't work anymore against JJL... Pritzker/Bonnie is probably the best way to deal with him now which only makes Ahmed a much better esper to use with JJL for cd reset

It does not. But it adds to the average counter attack rate which is why mine is on that. It also let's you counter when the enemy doesn't have netherbloom

I'm conflicted ... from one side I do want all Shimmer 5* units to be at his and Unas's levels to justify their rarity. But on the other hand ... I'm 1.5-1.7k summons in this game and not a SINGLE 5* shimmer. So ... yeah.

I'm sure it's fluid so he will lose stacks when he heals. That's the bruiser way (zora is a fake bruiser)

I run mine with Hades/fiery. Much less dmg. But he DOES NOT DIE, lol. Only time I’ve lost in Holo is when he’s been hard countered by a heavy CC team.

I cannot imagine how that works cause he gets stunned unless you build him with low attack so he recharges his cd. So maybe OW tanky build might do it but its gonna be super slow

Currently most teams I've tested (not super speedy) are about 2 minutes. With ophelia you can go much faster to near 1 minute

That works but only for 1 of his hits if you time it just right. I think just crowd control and slowly whittle him down is the safest way (apart from prtizker/triki/bonnie)

On his Phase3 ascension, he gain 20% lifesteal when on demon form, but also caps his speed to the highest speed on the battelfield. Did they forgot to put the speed cap on unascended skill description? Otherwise, maybe theres a strat of having a speedy Jiang Jiuli that turn cycles fast and keeps taunting while taking dmg from his allies?

If the game had miraculously given me this unit before I quit, I probably wouldn't have quit. He would have instantly made my tank team broken and I would most likely climb from t11 to t13 super easy for no reason other than how strong that team would be. Its already pretty solid, but having an unkillable monster as well as my Ahmed/Clara combo, would just be gross. Especially since both of them have 2k defense and 55k hp.

Imo ocean is best set for him..his not that great in pw. Nvr have a problem with him..but i think in holobattle he will be a nightmare with right team
