I know the ZIM fandom is very crazy, but I’d never think anyone who actually cares about the people behind the show would say things like “Cancel Richard” & “Kill Richard”… like, wtf?!?! Just to let y’all know, I am a MASSIVE ZIM fan, and have nothing but respect for the people behind this amazing show, and I respect the fan base for how devoted they are to the series, but I just don’t like it when fans say things like that. Yes, Richard is a celebrity, but he’s also a human being. I just feel like some people forget that. That’s all I wanted to say… Have a great day, everyone! ❤️❤️❤️

Thank you so much for adding this, I couldn't agree more. I've posted a lot about it before on other sites but I'll say it here, if people want the IZ cast to interact/have a relationship with the fans we can't act like total asshats. This stream happening in the first place is such a blessing and it hurts me to see people possibly ruining it. Richard was in on the boomer jokes but when people started spamming #killrichard #cancelrichard, it really isn't that funny or constructive. Especially to him who probably doesn't share that sense of humor, lets be honest. Jhonen has had to grow a thick skin since day one so it's clear why he avoids reading chat in the first place and I'm glad he doesn't.

Glum Rot No problem. I just really don’t like it when fans take it too far. Sure, the ZIM fandom made InvaderCON, a lot of them are super talented artists, and many creators have been inspired by the series to make their own cartoon (Vivienne Medrano created of Hazbin Hotel & Helluva Boss (which also has Richard in it) was massively inspired by Invader ZIM)! But, that’s kinda how a fandom is, some fans are super kind and caring of the people who made the show, and others... well, they aren’t. I will continue to love this show, creators, and fan base, but I will not support anyone who does anything like this to anyone, whether they are famous or not. Even if they were joking, it still isn’t right to do stuff like that. Hopefully I got my message across. Thank you for posting this video. I had a blast watching it. For example, I kin Yuri from Doki Doki Literature Club, because we have VERY similar personalities and are both very shy, we also tend to approach situations in the same way. So it’s pretty much when you relate to a character enough to say you kin them. I’ve never explained before, I’m not sure if I got it across properly. Hopefully someone can explain better than me.

Probably since he couldn’t remember the theme song and didn’t know that Zim lived on a roundabout, since he read out a message about someone calling him a fake fan too. The joke was absolutely NOT FUNNY. The cancel one would be fine if he knew what cancelling was and knew that they were just messing around, but he didn’t. And the kill Richard ones were not funny AT ALL. It was horrible.

I mean, he is a voice actor that voices a lot of characters from different shows with lores that can confuse anyone. It's like if he confused Billy's tone with zim's tone. He's a wholesome man and the only boomer I'll ever respect, he didn't deserve that

There are times when subtle satire is funny, when it can't be meaningfully parsed from being real, but that only works if what you're satirizing is harmless and the humor doesn't solely depend on it being satire. You're not roleplaying as an asshole to be satirical, you're just being an asshole. I mean you can hear in his voice that he's not used to this kind of real-time internet attention, he thinks it's an actual attack on his character and is getting all self-critical and reflective.
