I wonder if she ever found out JFK jr did that for her.

I got to meet him once when I was 19 years old in 1994. He was the nicest guy. He was walking alone near Park Avenue and 23rd street in NYC. At the time I wasn't thinking...this is the former president's son because I wasn't even born yet when JFK died in 63. I just was thinking this is Jacqueline Onassis son because she was often in the news at the time and I would see JFK jr in the news as well. When I got the nerve up I said hi...are you Jacqueline Onassis son? He nodded kind of shyly yes. All I could say was nice to meet you. He waved and that was all. He was a very nice person and surprisingly... he wasn't being bothered by people on the street considering it was a beautiful afternoon on a work day in NYC. Looking back now that I'm older and knowing how famous and popular he was and still is...I appreciate that he didn't ignore me as I know he must have often been approached by lots of people in his travels. I'm glad I got the chance to say I got to meet JFK jr as his father is a hero of mine after learning so much about him over the last 20 years.

@@qazmanchannelHi! I really like that question! I was a Black teenager growing up in Brooklyn during the 1990s. Even at age 18, I knew JFK jr was viewed as a handsome man. He was always described by the media, women and even men as being a person that had an undeniable sex appeal. Now, when I saw him the day I mentioned, it was then that I got the concept of what it meant when someone is said to have the "it" factor. I got what it means to be born with it. He was dressed in a tee shirt and shorts if my memory is correct. It was late spring ,early summer at the time. He was definitely not in a suit that's for sure. He looked more handsome in person then he looked on TV. Which seems impossible because he already looked handsome on TV. He was in great shape. Very fit not too skinny. His hair was perfectly in place. He was shaved. No facial hair. Keep in mind, this was a work day in lower Manhattan which is usually busy. My attention was drawn to him as I was walking toward him because he had an undeniable movie star appeal about his appearance. He seem to be just strolling. Not in any hurry. No one was with him and no one was stopping him. But, he had an aura that said, dignified and cool at the same time to me. Then I recognized who he was because he was in the news a lot in NYC at the time due to his mother's illness. I then approached and somewhat nervously asked if he was Jackie Onasis son. He replied with a nod yes. I replied nice to meet you. He waved at me as if he was saying hello. I remember as I walked away from him afterwards and thinking to myself, what's wrong with me, he is also the president's son and I didn't acknowledge that when I asked him who he was. I actually felt dumb and wished I could redo it all over. But, It was way too brief a moment. I wished I could have talked longer with him. He really appeared to be a very down to earth person. Very handsome, cool and real. All in one. I hope this gives you a picture of him from my personal account. It will always be a memorable experience for me that I will never forget. He is actually one of the few people I admire and hold in high regard. When he passed on, I was so sad and it took me a long time to get over his passing. I'm still not fully over it. After he passed I started doing my research on who he was as a person. I am very thankful that I got to meet him.

Thank you for the lengthy reply i appreciate, if you really want to learn more about John as who he was I highly highly recommend you read a book called fairytale interrupted which was written by his close friend/ secretary Rose Marie terenzio. She was his executive secretary at George. It’s an amazing insight to both him and Carolyn bessette. Also let me tell you this, those years you may have felt in embarrassed about asking if he’s jackie’s son, don’t be! As much John understood he was famous and the family he came from, he hated the attention, more so the paparazzi, especially in New York everyone knew who he was, he always wanted to visit a town or country where people didn’t know him, you asking who he was probably made his day and made him laugh a little as that doesn’t happen to him often ESPECIALLY in Manhattan. He was the closest thing to a real life Bruce Wayne lol!

It must have been a different experience for JFK jr, the most famous and recognized man in the world being asked who he was. Hey...that was a 19 yr old me. 😂. From that day, I watched and caught anything JFK jr that was in print and on TV . How he appeared personality wise on TV, was no different than how he was in person. I am looking forwarded to getting my hands on the book you recommended. I've read one book called John and Me written by Matt Berman. It was a great book as well about the author's personal relationship with JFK jr. What a fascinating person JFK jr was. He was certainly the Bruce Wayne of NYC. He would have been a great mayor, governor and even U.S. president. Thank you for reaching out to me. Please let me know if you come across anything you feel would be great info on JFK jr. He was one of a kind. It is so unfortunate that the future was not provided him so he then provided it to the world.

He had the same especial energy as that of Princess Diana 🤔

He looked husky, not real slender like JFK. And walking around like a regular person was kinda risky to me, John Lennon tried to do that. Anyway i always liked him in interviews and he may have been president one day.
