I met mr. Ahamed deedat at jeddah in 1993. We prayed d dhuhar salah together. My boss introduced him he is your Indian and settled at south africa. I never heard abt him earlier. He really intelligent in every subjects especially quran and bible studies...

Here, I hope this will help: There were good points in his presentation but there were also many weaknesses. He skipped over the truth which I believe he knew for sure. Though God condemned the Jews for not following the law Moses gave them God, offered the Jews a second hope in Jermiah 31:31-34. "Behold, the days are coming, declares the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and the house of Judah, not like the covenant that I made with their fathers on the day when I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, my covenant that they broke, though I was their husband, declares the Lord. For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, declares the Lord: I will put my law within them, and I will write it on their hearts. And I will be their God, and they shall be my people. And no longer shall each one teach his neighbor and each his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest, declares the Lord. For I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more." This "new covenant" is what Jesus establishes. At the final supper he says "This is the cup of my blood, the blood of the new and everlasting covenant. It will be shed for you and for all men so that sins may be forgiven." (Matthew 26:26-29) So Jesus fulfills the promise God made in Jeremiah. It begins with Moses and ends with Jesus. There is no Mohammad or Islam in this exchange. Islam is not part of the equation. And lastly, the speaker claims all religions can gather under Islam but verses in the Koran calls for the "kill all infidels", and "do not trust Christians and Jews" "When the sacred months are over slay the idolaters wherever you find them" (Sura 9:5). "When you meet the unbelievers in the battlefield, strike off their heads" (Sura 47:4). "Prophet, make war on the unbelievers and the hypocrites and deal rigorously with them. Hell shall be their home: an evil fate" (Sura 9:73). "The true believers fight for the cause of God, but the infidels fight for the devil. Fight then against the friends of Satan" (Sura 4:76). Who are these idolaters and unbelievers and infidels? Those who are not strict Muslims. "Muhammad is God's Apostle. Those who follow him are ruthless to the unbelievers but merciful to one another" (Sura 48:29). Clearly Islam is not a religion of Unity or even presented in the voice of a true God. Islam is the place where Christians and Jews cannot find harmony. It is where they will only find death. God's grace extends to Christianity. Islam offers death. Islam is the devil's response to Jesus' truth.

This was one of our greatest scholars of Islam He was a real icon Respect for him always The knowledge he had no other can ever have in thr religion🤲🏻 We as muslim are blessed to have had him We learned so much Allah grant him the highest status In Jannatul Firdouz Ameen❤

I saw him in public walking the streets of Durban, and every person looked at him in awe, I went to visit him when he was bedridden, and still I looked at him in awe...Allah swt has really given us a person of great stature and personaity to be encouraged to follow the straight path.

As a Muslim I have Jewish friends who are wonderful. As the saying goes there is good and bad everywhere. I believe the Jewish people in Israel have had enough of the way Palestinians are being treated they speak up and are being punished but we don’t see that on mainstream media. When you look back at history all in that land Co-existed and lived peacefully together. Therefore it’s not impossible to revert back to those days. It’s called Hope and wanting the Will, otherwise we are all doomed.

Ahmed Deedat was a phenomenon in the field of religious scholars ! No body could refute his discourse in the study of comparative religions. He will always remain a hero to those who strive in dawa work. May Allah give him his rightful place in Heaven...Ameen.

Thank you dear one. I am old and am an Eastern Orthodox Christian. There was a time when we all lived together in the holy land until the west interfered like in the Crusades they attacked Constantanoble and pillaged and murdered the Eastern Orthodox Christians, horribly. Then the Ottoman Empire invaded but the Eastern Orthodox Christians said they had rather live under the Ottomans than the Roman's because the Romans were so barbaric.😢

Zakir Naik was a student of Deedat during the study he was a sunni muslim but later revealed himself as wahabi and got astrayed from the Islam. He is having ilm but the ilm is having iblees too but became mal uun due to disrespect of the prophet. Same here goes he disrespected the prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam. He says in one of his lecture nauzbillah prophet Muhammad died finished off.

I was very fortunate to have known sheikh ahmed deedat when I was a young boy he use to come and give us Friday talks at our school from the late 80s to early 90s great man towering figure a giant when you stand next to him I will never forget him good man honourable man a respected man a true legend his work continues through his books and videos he is buried 15 minutes away from me here in Durban south Africa.

The history of Ahammad dedat is the history of a Muslim missionary and self-taught scholar on Islam and Quran. He was born in India in 1918, but moved to South Africa when he was nine years old. He became interested in comparative religion after encountering Christian missionaries who criticized Islam and Prophet Muhammad. He studied the Bible and the Quran, and started to engage in public debates and lectures with Christian leaders. He founded the Islamic Propagation Center International (IPCI), the largest Islamic dawah organization in the world. He wrote and published more than 30 books on Islam and Christianity, and distributed them for free. He was awarded the King Faisal International Prize in 1986 for his missionary work. He died in 2005 after suffering a stroke that left him paralyzed for nine years. Some of his books are: - The Choice: Islam and Christianity - What the Bible Says About Muhammad - Crucifixion or Cruci-Fiction - Is the Bible God's Word - Christ in Islam - Al-Qur'an - The Miracle of Miracles - Who Moved The Stone - Muhammad the Greatest - Was Jesus Crucified? We only appreciate something more when we don't have it anymore. So is the case with Brother Ahmed Deedat. A legend who worked from a City called Durban in South Africa. I was fortunate to have sat in his lectures and visit him in his dingy little office. A Great man he surely was . I remember him saying to me that we all need to be foot soldiers of Islam. His other inspiring words were, do the work of a Prophet and earn the reward of a Prophet. Think about the fairness of Allah Almighty. May Our Brother receive the highest state of Junnah.

Something very soothing about Ahmad Deedat's voice and the strength with which he presents his argument without a hint of doubt. What a powerful argument that only Islam can bring peace to the Middle East as prophesied by Moses. He definitely had a superior vision. You can listen to this man speak for hours. There are imitations but none yet like him.

May Allah SWT grant Sheikh Ahmed Deedat highest Jannah ameen 🤲🤲🤲🤲.

Many great scholars have come after Deedat but no one has his Charisma and his style of engaging the viewers. May Allah grant him highest lvl in Jannah

I'm from durban south africa. Growing up Ahmed Seedat was in his prime. IPCI was the organisation he started in durbs in the. 80 s. Funded I think by Saudis. Brilliant man alhamdulillah.

Deedat was one of the best when interpreting the Quran, as one has to know the events at the time,, surrounding those Quranic​ verses. He certainly attracted the masses. It's good that his lectures are still available.
