Islam is a religion since Prophet Adam, Noah, Jonas, Isa, David, Abraham until Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) to worship the One and only, Allah. It is stated in the Quran that the Jew people disobey the teachings of their own Prophet and forever they will be ignorant. Only few who among them who embraced Islam such as Maimonides, Solomon Ben Gabirol and many more throughout history.

@Tothose actually met the guy. I acted like I am muslim, and he told me straight up that he honestly didn't know anything about Judaism and was barely in Judaism when he became Muslim. He jumped straight in with fanatics and ended up being a fanatic. Judaism and Islam are 98% the same. The Qur'am verifies all in the Tanakh, has many verses from the Tanakh and Talmud, and says a lot of good things about Judaism; despite what people like him say.

@followsunnah, for argument's sake, let me agree with that. Now, I still see an issue, which is that there are different names for what appears to be the same tax based on whether one is a Muslim or not. If it is indeed the same tax, then why not use one word for it to apply to Muslims and non-Muslims alike? Why does it seem that Muslims and non-Muslims have to be distinguished from one another?

... What you've just said proves that you're neither Sunni nor Shia. If you're Sunni, then you should know that asking questions is encouraged, since in Islam there is nothing to hide or shy away from; everything is answerable, which is also why many Christians turn to Islam, as their own faith leaves them without any answers to fulfill their curiosity.

@norizanmohd the truth about life is everyone is equal and though you may know that, and most Muslims may feel insulted that this is being brought to their attention, it is not reflected in Muslim countries around the world. Most of these things we are ignorant towards because we are raised in circumstances where subtle or extreme gender inequalities are the norm, but it is our responsibility to address them and bring them attention.

Agreed. Let's lead by example. The best way is to start with our own home, become good parents and society will follow. I meant earlier, that i find it 'comforting' that we have extremes. We have the very very liberal, and we have the extremes, and we are somewhere in between. My point is, its just what the world needs to exist. Either way the world will somehow collapse.

The news of this event, reached Ibn ‘Abbas who said, “If I had been in his place, I would not have burnt them, as Allah’s Apostle forbade it, saying, ‘Do not punish anybody with Allah’s punishment (fire).’ I would have killed them according to the statement of Allah’s Apostle, ‘Whoever changed his Islamic religion, then kill him.’“

And as you're Arabic, you must already know that the term 'jihadist' does not really make sense, and is not applicable to groups such as Hamas or Hezbollah. The Israeli-Jewish side is fighting just as much as Hezbollah, at times even more, but you don't ever call them jihadists. Hamas and Hezbollah are fighting, not because they're Muslim, but because they're attempting to protect their people and avoid total rule by the Jewish rulers.

Based on his description of Judaism, including his dismissive labeling of Judaism as 'rabbism,' it is easy to conclude that his background is unfettered by any sort of authentic Jewish education. The most important examples of his ignorance was his claim that their is wisdom in Judaism beyond the access of Jews themselves. Then there is his claim that the Qu'ran describes Judaism as simple to understand. Judaism is intellectually demanding, but accessible to anyone who tries.

He considers it a tactic to continue his dream of greater Israel. Another point is he leaves his faith behind in the journey of his own selfish and faith conflicting desires. Selfishness is a trait of one that rejects GOD.

If you know anything about Christianity, which I doubt you do, you would know Christians don't worship three gods. It sounds like you are a Muslim posing as a Christian. The Trinity is not three distinct substances, but 1 substance in three forms. I'm not a Christian, but even I'm not stupid enough to believe they worship three gods, and Muhammed regarded Christians as monotheistic too.
