This rabbi is right! We are all brothers and sisters and if Judaism is to survive we must all pull together like a family.

I thoroughly enjoyed this video. I am considering on converting to Judaism but am at times confused at this infighting among Jews.

Yitz Greenberg and his wife were also the Orthodox representatives who went to meet the Dali Lama. They took allot of heat from the Orthodox community for meeting him and fellowshipping with Jews from other branches of Judaism. Never met him but I'd like to shake his hand. Kudos!

The one thing I disagree with though is the premises of having to live in the system that has the problem in order to be a part of the solution. I believe that Hashem loves all no matter: Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, Creed, Race, Religion, or Ethnicity. I am a Heterosexual Male and still believe that those whom hold a different Sexual Orientation or Gender Identity have every right to live in a manner that gives them the most peace in life.

We can explain the difference between orthodox and reform by the following example: a man comes in front a shoe store, and sees the offer of a beautiful italian made shoe pair. He wants to purchase it, but faced a problem: in the store's inventory, there were no shoes that could fit his feet size, just smaller. He went out to search in another store, when he was stopped by the shop owner:" wait, you could undergo a surgery and have parts of your feet amputated, in order that they will fit the shoes !". Nobody would take that offer seriously, simply because we all know that the shoes should fit the feet's size, not the opposite. The question is: which are the shoes, and which are the feet. Orthodox claim Torah and jewish values are the feet, and modernity is the "shoes". Reform claim that the feet are modernity, and Judaism (the "shoes", for them) "should adapt itself to the times": amputate the Shabath, amputate the family, amputate kashruth, amputate jewish values, amputate the mitsvoth, until nothing else is left.

So does conservative Judaism support homosexuality or not?

I disagree! I’m Orthodox and don’t want to mingle. It doesn’t make sense.

55:47 I considered converting to conservative judaism til this minute. No thanks. I ain't signing up for a conversion to a different Torah than the one Hakadosh Barch Hu gave in Mount Sinai. The words of HaShem are eternal.

Only thing that really stuck out as wrong was women and gay rabbies. With regard to homophobia Torah does talk about sadomia and it has a story of how God destroyed a whole city over it. Thats part of the story when Sarah found out from an angel that she would give birth.
