Please support him. I'm a revert and if it wasn't for the welcome and the way I was accepted into the community, I don't know if I would've stayed in contact with the community as deep as I have. Also a suggestion is to have socials to have new reverts and non newly reverted members hangout. That way they can maybe find a person they can get along with well. We started doing that in our masjid and the reverts started becoming an integral part of our community.

there’s usually not enough reverts to be able to form such a group because Muslims generally do not care about doing dawah in the west and say dumb stuff like “dawah is only through good manners we don’t need to talk about the religion.” Muslims can be so annoying sometimes I was on a dawah live stream and asked if people just watch or do dawah themselves and got absolutely blasted by the entire chat.

KZread194i04p sorry to hear that :( BarakAllahu lak I thought the idea posed about welcoming reverts was an important one I guess that as individuals we should welcome reverts personally and invest in real life relationships. The problem of a lack of community only persists when we rely on broadcast messages and KZread comments that encourage action. The next thing that’s left to do is actually do the said stuff, despite what others, Muslim and non muslim, think

Where did they get the number 3 for times to say the shahada? And it is incorrect to say that it is not necessary and that it is just a ceremony to say the shahada. Shahada is one of the pillars of Islam, it is not something optional, belief has to be in the heart but it also has to be professed on the tongue for a person to enter Islam. May Allah bless our new Muslim brother, guide him to correct sources of the religion and keep him steadfast
