To the person who put a thumbs down!!!!!! The people who do these tutorials work hard to teach us and record it. If you don't like it hid the road BUT don't put a thumbs down. For all we know, you are just doing it to bring attention to yourself! I am sick and tired of people putting thumbs down. Especially because the ones that do it, probably have no life other than to cause trouble.

And they obviously don’t know anything about wire wrapping. If they knew just the basics they would know that any artist that can wrap with 20g wire has more experience and talent than most of us ever hope to have.

Anyway will keep experimenting and see what I come up with This is great and want to try more of your tuts thank you

I know this was done a year ago, but I got the starburst part but I cannot see for the life of me where you are putting that weaving wire through the starburst it's driving me nuts. Is there any possible way you could do this one with telling us what you're doing as you're doing it? If not I understand but I really would love to be able to do this. It is fabulous.

@@4girlsjewelry thanks so much for your prompt response. I can't wait to make some of your designs.
Okay, this looked like a really cool design, but the materials do NOT seem to be correct?! The 18 GA wires I got seem WAY thinner than in this video, and the 20 GA wire seems thinner too, and less pliable. Are you using a specific brand or type of wire or something?? Also, how in the world did you start the pattern? Its really hard to keep my 18ga wires straight at all. I'm still going to try this, and really appreciate the tutorial! But just wanted to let you know that your list of materials may be wrong or missing important information. Update: I just used some kebab sticks as the base to hold the design, and used 18GA wire (specifically Anezus brand jewelry wire) for the design. It seems to be working well so far!

I use recycled electrical wire. And i can’t properly measure gauge sometimes… but I try U can also pre- anneal your wires to make them more flexible if u work with copper
@elijahclaude3413
11 ай бұрын
@@4girlsjewelry I'm completely new to this, and don't know anything about working with copper. I didn't realize you created even the copper yourself! Amazing! Perhaps may want to compare to store-bought wire, or let people know that your copper is recycled. I managed to replicate this using 18GA jewelry wire, so its no big deal!
@elijahclaude3413
11 ай бұрын
Also! It may help to let people know roughly how much wiring you are using. Seems to be about 3-4ft? Idk, I didn't measure on my first go around. Going to see when I make another one.@@4girlsjewelry

@@4girlsjewelry 😅I understand. I do the same thing and then have to go back and estimate what I used for tutorials. Because I provide kits, I need to know how much wire to give them. And those who don't receive kits need to know- at least approximately- how much to have on hand.

@@4girlsjewelry You’re so talented. And your ideas are amazing. I am just getting back into wire work after years and years of just doing bead weaving. You blow my mind away with your innovative ideas and your free thinking! But can I make some constructive comments??? I also found the music in this video sooo annoying. Actually, just silence or your wire working sounds and the sounds of your pliers are enough. You don’t need to fill the void with talking or music. You only need to talk when you need to talk as far as I’m concerned. When you need to say something, that’s the perfect time to talk. Otherwise no particular music is needed. Also, can I make one other comment/request? I have watched a number of your videos now and I am so impressed and I’m so in awe with your talent. You make incredible jewelry that is to die for and on top of that you make these wonderful videos, sharing your work. But when you show us _a component or a small piece_ you often move your hand or your fingers a little excessively so that we can’t really see the piece calmly. It would be very nice just to have a _closeup_ _Zoom of a certain component_ that you were talking about without movement. I am sure you’re moving your hand to show all the sides of the piece, the top, the sides from all angles etc. etc. But that would be better to do after having the zoom of the piece without movement. Is that just me? I don’t know. Anyway, I am so excited to try some of your ideas. Thank you for the tutorials!
Love the component and the necklace but hate the music sorry, but it's annoying. ❤😊
